Sitting at Helix on a Sunday at noon visiting down from Virginia. Anne at reception saw us through with amazing speed and pleasantry. Came here because time share concierge who told us this place had x-rays - my wife had a fall and we wanted to avoid hospital ER. Highly recommend. As I typed this Anne just came over to get everything logged in (as we got married recently sometimes my wife shows up jwith her maiden name). A real plus to Hrlix. Highly recommend.

I will never go there again there again. The receptionist is rude and sarcastic. Instead of saying ma’am okay this is what I need form you and if you don’t have it physically handy you can provide me with a photo. Her interactions with two with men were much more pleasant then with me. She waits until after I say oh it’s okay I’ll take my service elsewhere and point out that she doesn’t have to be so sarcastic to say oh well you could’ve provided me a photo. I politely walked out. I don’t have to deal with rude people when I’m the who got rear end and I need a service. Service providers just don’t get you lose business when you don’t handle your customers well.

Have been here a few times and it has been fantastic. I was seen quickly and received great care. Everyone is always empathetic and kind as well as efficient. I actually like it better than my primary, who can never seem to squeeze me in.

I was welcomed by the receptionist and seen by a nurse practitioner within 5 minutes. It was 10 am on a Saturday. I was delighted with such fast service. There are no MDs except once a month. However the NP Ria was very competent and lovely. Her assistant was also very competent and welcoming. I was in and out in 30 min. I will definitely go back to this facility.

I am from Maryland and in the last days of a week-long vacation at a resort here in the West Palm area.Ive had an upper respiratory issue since arriving, but just a few days ago it got so bad that I felt I should seek medical attention.I Googled walk-in clinics and Helix was the closest.The world is so strange right now with so many things ending in sadness, disappointment, or frustration...that I didnt have high hopes for my visit.Boy, was I pleasantly surprised!!!My sister and I kept looking at each other in wide-eyed astonishment...as each employee was as kind and helpful as the next. It was like a dream.The receptionist was very sweet and welcoming. After my smooth check-in, there was an elderly lady checking in behind me. I overheard her say she was born in 1933...so the sweet little thing was nearly 90 years old! Her hands were shaking as she was trying to rush and take out her identification. She was fumbling (understandably so). The sweet Helix receptionist was patient and loving. She told the client its ok...no hurry honey...take your time...relax. She made the elderly lady calm thanks to her soothing disposition.The person that took my vitals was also very professional and kind.Finally...the beautiful, young, female P.A. on duty was a breath of fresh air. She intently listened to me explain my symptoms...asked thoughtful questions....and prescribed me 3 medications for an upper respiratory infection.The shocker was that she didnt try to upsell me on anything or do any unnecessary tests to make the company more $$$$. She could have easily told me they needed to test my saliva or do a chest xray, etc and i would have gone along with it. But she didnt! And in this economy, Im soooo grateful!!! I only had to pay the base fee of $125 for the visit.And when I told her I didnt have insurance and was wondering if she knew the cost of the 3 prescriptions, she left the room, went to a computer somewhere, and came back with printed discount coupons for the medicines. She said she had searched for the most affordable ones for me.Whaaattt??? Who takes time to do that??!My 3 prescriptions together, at nearby Publix, was less than 35 dollars!Definitely not anything Ive ever experienced in my home state of Maryland....The customer service at Helix was over-the-top awesome.Incredibly kind and professional staff. Spotless waiting room. Less than 10 minute wait to be seen. Affordable.What makes me kind of sad though is that this fabulous experience is such cause for celebration......We have been so accustomed to irritable sales clerks and grumpy doctors and inconsiderate customer service people with no knowledge of their industry...plus long wait times.... That when something runs as smooth and beautiful as my Helix experience that it almost feels like a joke being played. Like it is not even real.I told my sister that I felt like we were on candid camera and that there was a hidden videographer somewhere. Like the perfection was just a ruse....But not the case, of course.Helix is real! And so are my 5 stars!

Very nice urgent care facility. Quite at the time we went.Clean facility and the staff was excellent.Able to see the Dr within an hour before we were back on our way.

Arrived to FL the day prior and husband had a urgent issue front desk was friendly and approachable the nurse/MA that took my husband not so much was the complete opposite… wasn’t allowed to go in with my husband and he said though the service was great the nurse had a nasty attitude even when he tried to be nice to ease the oddness of the interaction

So, the covering NP was very nice (once i got called in) however, the front desk was slow, unfriendly and took forever (and I was the only patient in there and freezing with fever). Once seen, the NP was very attentive and gentle. She was covering from another facility. Now the anger....Helix billed my credit card 5 months after my visit for $500 without ever submitting the bill to my insurance. This visit is covered. There is NO billing phone to Helix so communication is thru email only. No one ever responds to the emails. How dare they bill my CC 5 months later without warning me, sending me a letter or emailing me. so annoying and BAD business!

BE AWARE - they will charge you extra $4.00 for using your credit card for payment/copayment. This is the first time I have been charged extra on top of my copayment by Urgent Care. I would not recommend this place. I will be going elsewhere

Ive been here several times when my doctor wasnt available and also for blood work. They are always very professional and help me with whatever I need. Staff is friendly and I would highly recommend to anyone in need of medical help.

I went to Helix urgent Care 3 weeks ago for a covid test gave my insurance card was in the office 15 minutes they said they needed a credit card on file and they charged my credit card $403.75 for a covid test outrageous Im making good complaint with the better Business bureau his company is is unethical and wrongfully charged my credit card I found dispute with my bank and I am beyond limit I would never recommend this company again theyre a rip off and they steal peoples money

The nurses and support staff are very kind, friendly, and helpful. Did not have the same experience with the doctor or PA not sure what she calls herself who was there on 3/31/24 but she is very rude, impatient, and rushed me out the door as fast as she could while I was experiencing a health crisis. Very poor bedside manner. I think I’ll stick with MDNow where I have never had such issues.Update: I was seen here more recently by Dr. Mooney and she is amazing! Far better than the providers I’ve been seen by in the past at this location. Really a sweet woman who seems to care about patients. I was having a bit of a crisis and the nurses stepped in immediately to help me. The blonde lady at the front desk and a brunette behind the desk helped me out greatly as well, sorry I didn’t get their names but I’m grateful for them!

STAY AWAY from the telehealth services. I’m not sure about the in person care, but regardless you cannot contact anyone by phone. I spent multiple days attempting to reach someone by phone to discuss a payment plan for my medical bill that they up-charged to my insurance and then I was expected to pay the outstanding balance. In addition, they charged me a late payment fee while I was waiting to see if they would accept a payment planThey charged me over $500 for a five minute visit and billed it as a 30+ minute encounter. The one time I contacted a person, they said they needed to speak to manager and left me on hold for over an hour and then hung up. This company is purely for profit and couldn’t care less about patients. There are better and more reputable urgent care companies like MD NOW.

The entire staff is superb. From the moment we arrived they make us feel comforted. The doctor, nurses and techs were very helpful and answered all of my teenager daughter questions. It was great. Thank you for keeping us healthy Best experience we had at an urgent care. 10 stars

This urgent care (I feel) has a very poor administrative policies that they will hold your account open for over a year, without notifying you that additional money are due. They will charge your credit card on file, one year afterwards for additional fees, without notifying you. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD! The office staff might be getting a commission on all the administration and management fees they will charge you. Its been over one year since I was seen and when I ask them is there any outstanding balance due. I was told (by front desk staff) they have not processed my service bill yet! WHAT? So, I feel they will hold your account open, hoping your credit card has either expired or renewed so they can charge you with outrages account administration and management fees. I will be contacting the medical billing Agency for Health Care Administration to assist me with these practices! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

I ignored an ingrown toe-nail until the pain was so great, it ultimately became infected. Am new to the area and just Googled Urgent care ... came across Helix with a 4.7 Star rating. From the receptionist, to Maria, intake and vitals nurse, to Ria, Nurse Practitioner, these were some of the nicest, most professional and efficient medical personnel that has ever treated me. Maria numbed by toe with a shot that hurt more in my head than in reality, then immediately and clearly explained the diagnosis, what needed to be done, then proceeded to cut and drain the infection, perfectly bandaged it up, gave me recommendations for next steps and even called in my antibiotics to pharmacy.Well-deserved 5 Stars :) Thank You!

Amazing! I highly recommend Helix urgent care! From the moment I walked in. The staff at the Northlake location were kind and helpful. The facilities were clean and organized. I was seen promptly and given what I needed to get better. Thank you for being there!

This place is top shelf by far. Friendly staff from the moment I came through the door. The nursing staff was also friendly and knowledgeable. Ken, the nurse practitioner, was awesome. Very thorough, took his time to make sure I understood everything regarding why I was there. I highly recommend this practice!

Went in 2019. Paid my bill and now years later they are sending me a bill saying I didn’t pay for a Covid 19 rapid test. That test didn’t even exist until may 2020. Then they added a bunch of fees because it wasn’t paid.

Be aware with this urgent care, they try to charge $1000, from my insurance for just a cold visit, and my insurance cover 800 And try to ask me to pay for $218 . And walk in just 140. How??? I asked how any other 500 charges for, she said she don’t know??? After i call them, they said the only way is talk to their billing department, but they said the number will no one pick up, you have to email them?? Such as psychedelic company.Just after a call, they send you a notification said this amount will change from my c/c ??? Without my approval???

Friendly and efficient. My sighted had double ear infections while in FL on a trip. We got there right before it opened and were in and out within 30 minutes. The doctor was sooo lovely and got my daughter fixed right up!

I would give a ZERO IF I COULD, MY SERVICE BY A NURSE PRACTITIONER WAS THE I DIDNT HAVE COVID! WOW! AND CHARGED $282 DOLLARS! QUACKS WORSE THAN CAR DEALERSHIPS!!!

It was very on time very quick, not a long wait. Nice doctors nice CNA nice customer service rep when I called a nice front desk person as well. Everyone was amazing and especially nice. I got there at 12 o’clock. My appointment was at 12:15. I was seen at 12:20 and I was gone by 12:41. 🤝💕 definitely a good business and highly recommended.

Came in after a fishing hook in a parking lot lodged in my foot! I was very nervous and received Compassion and quick care. Would highly recommend!

Helix urgent care is great. The reception are polite and quick make check in easy. The nurse practitioner was very accommodating made sure to check with me if I had questions about my medication I was given. Helped me understand what was wrong with me and prescribed the right meds so I can get better. I appreciate the great care I received. This is my go to place for urgent care when I’m not feeling well. Highly recommend!

I was so sick and my doctor was out of the office so I (reluctantly) went to Helix, haven’t had good experiences with other urgent care facilities. I must say I couldn’t have been more pleased!I was warmly greeted by staff, and ushered in promptly. The male nurse was very nice. Ria Hallenbeck was the physician assistant that took care of me and she was wonderful, so personable, kind and caring. Turns out it was bronchitis which they were able to confirm with an x-ray, I didn’t even know they were equipped to do this!I will not hesitate to go back again and next time I won’t wait 5 days to get help! Thank you Ria and staff!

I rarely write reviews however I went to this urgent care on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I arrived when they opened with two people ahead of me. The wait was not long and everyone that worked there was so helpful and kind. I had an aggressive ear infection that came on rapidly and was rushing to get to a wedding that day. The healthcare team that saw me was so helpful and saved the day for me. I am so appreciative. Highly recommend this location for urgent care needs.

I was on vacation and suspected I had a sinus infection. I searched for a walk in clinic. Helix got good reviews so decided to take a chance. Everyone was pleasant and the office was very clean. I was in and out in record time, they sent the required prescriptions to the local Walgreens and I am feeling much better now.

Efficient, clean, rarely a wait. Dr Marc Weinberg, DC, at Active Wellness Chiropractic, referred me 2 years ago when I had severe back pain. Resolved acute pain making it possible to receive physical therapy.Helix Urgent Care is my choice when my primary MD can’t see me. I recommend them with confidence.

Made an appointment online and it wasn’t too busy on a Saturday morning so didn’t have to wait too long. Was very quick and easy visit. The nurse Ria always does a great job. Explains everything very well and gets you the medicine you need to heal. Would recommend this place.

Helix in North Palm surprised me. My urgent care visits to other providers have always been careless, and way too long. I was able to make an appt online at Helix & was actually seen shortly thereafter. The check-in process was smooth and all parties from front desk, to nurse to PA were all kind and friendly. I have already recommended them to my colleagues.

I wish Dr. Pruett could be my primary care provider, she is absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. The women at the front desk were also excellent, and I was seen fast and everything was so smooth!

I’m a Tallahassee FL native who’s been living here for a travel assignment in the O.R. at St Mary’s Medical Center. So after realizing that I needed urgent care for my eye, I decided to get the help I needed at Helix Urgent Care. My experience was nothing short of amazing. No long wait, knowledgeable and pleasant staff, getting the best care and getting on my way after a long day at work was very much appreciated.The APRN, Ms Ria H. is very knowledgeable, she’s professional and personable. She listened and explained to me how to treat my eye infection. Also, she advised that I check my BP every morning and every night. And to keep a log for my next visit to my PCP for elevated BP without diagnosis of hypertension. I had no idea of that before I visited Helix Urgent Care. Thank goodness for small miracles. 🙏🏾

I found this place through my insurance while visiting the palm beach area. I wish I hadn’t gone there with my sick son. The nurse who saw him prescribed tamiflu and a steroid pack for my son even though his flu test was negative. They were supposed to call both rx to a nearby cvs but forgot to do one of them and then didn’t answer their phone for 15 minutes. Thankfully I reached my dr who told me definitely not to give those meds to my son. 5 days later and he has strep. If she had done a strep test when I brought him in complaining of a sore throat and fever, he would be better by now.also, they charged my insurance company over a $1,000 for the visit.

I was seen after a 20 minute wait, there were several other patients waiting. The practitioner that saw me was knowledgeable, treatment was effective. Over all a pleasant experience and I was glad it was available to me.

They were quick, easy and thorough. I walked in with an issue and walked out shortly after with a treatment plan and a way to manage.I recommend this urgent care.

Fantastic experience!Took my HighSchool boy in with a fever after school, when our primary physician was closed. We were in and out in under an hour. They were so kind and efficient! They called in the script to our local pharmacy. Couldn’t be happier with the timing or results!

I was unable to receive timely care from my PCP (and other practitioners due to lack of insurance and availability) The staff and doctors were sensitive to my situation and were swift to provide me with a 14 day supply of my perscriptions. The refills were sent to my pharmacy and my issue was resolved within an hours time. I am very happy with my experience at Helix in Palm Beach Gardens.

I took my daughter here for a sore throat. We were taken care of promptly. We were seen by ARNP Ria who was very compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, & thorough. The staff was wonderful & the facility was very clean & organized. Great experience for a worried mom & scared child!

I had to have pre-op clearance from a doctor. Helix was Amazing! First of all, it was very clean and set up well to avoid contact with others in the waiting room. On top of that, the staff could not have been nicer! I can’t remember their names - but I think one was Clara. What a warm, caring, friendly person she was!The woman who did my EKG was also wonderful. She was easy to talk with and she made me feel very comfortable. Then the doctor came in and again I was pleasantly surprised. He too was warm, caring and professional!All in all, it was a great experience and I will definitely use them the next time I need a doctor!

I had an absolutely awesome experience at Urgent Care.I went in for my right knee, and from the start the entire staff went out of their way to take care of me. On the follow up, this past Wednesday, they went above and beyond to make sure I got an MRI the same day. They closely worked with my insurance to make sure everything was in order.What an amazing and professional staff they have, a model group of individuals. The follow up has been unbelievable, I have spoken with 2 PAS. the manager and asst manager in the last 2 days. Top notch all the way. I highly recommend this particular Urgent Care. Excellent service, friendly staff, great hours. We needed our 3 year old to be seen on a Sunday and they were open. The reception desk person was very nice and the paperwork was quick. The nurse was extremely friendly and made our son very comfortable. The doctor was great also. Fair pricing and the prescription was sent correctly to the correct pharmacy, on time. The facility is very clean and in a good location. Highly recommend!

Whatever you do, don’t go here. Very long wait and the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. The second we got called in the nurse kept interrupting and was more focused on other conversations. When she went to go take my weight and she was super sloppy about it and she overestimated my weight as 150 lbs when my weight doesn’t go over 142 lbs. this usually wouldn’t matter that much to me but since I had to get a steroid shot due to hives I think the amount given to me was miscalculated also, when she finally took me to my room, she didn’t put a chart on my door so the doctor had no idea I was even there. My mom that was accompanying me had to go complain for the doctor to finally come in. Then when it was time to give me the steroid shot the same nurse was once again, super sloppy about it. She made me stand and she applied it super quickly, which made me nearly faint. It was a horrible experience all around. To top it all, they never even sent my medications to the pharmacy and also never emailed me a doctors note for my work when I requested that right before I left.

PLEASE BEWARE!! I truly feel like I got scammed. I called before going to this office with extreme pain and was told my insurance was accepted. I was not told I was going to be charged. 2 weeks later the money was taken out of my debit card. On top of that, I went to the ER the next day because I was still in pain after the medication they provided and was told that I was misdiagnosed. To me, it was money down the drain and money that I was not expecting to loose. I will say Christina from the billing department was most helpful in trying to resolve. Not sure if all offices run this way but I was extremely disappointed with the service and will definitely not be back.

Had a bad ear ache. Helix quickly diagnosed an infected ear drum. They prescribed medication that I was able to get quickly. Service was excellent and very prompt. On the road to recovery..thank you.

Excellent experience. Received help right away. The nurse and Practitioner/Doctor were amazing. Super clean. By far the best Urgent Care experience I’ve ever had. Will not hesitate to return.

The staff were professional and caring. We were seen by a doctor who provided the assistance we needed. We would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

So much nicer than other urgent care centers. the staff is always kind and helpful. When you’re not feeling great that’s the most important thing. The facility is always clean, and it usually doesn’t take too long during appointments. I have no complaints and would recommend if you need a quick check up and you can’t get in with you GP.

Judy, ARNP and the staff were extremely professional, clinically competent, warm, and caring. I was in and out in approximately 1 hour. The staff was very nice and treated me like I was a person and not another number in their clinic. They actually carried on conversations with me and the doctor was amazing! I hate going to the doctor and will put it off because the doctors Ive been to never listen to me but that is the opposite at this office! The doctor explained so much to me and was efficient without making me feel rushed or that she wasnt listening! The entire staff was a huge pleasure to encounter here at this helix location! Being out of town, I was concerned not knowing anything about the Healthcare in Florida. We have some great healthcare in St. Louis and being familiar with St. Louis you are knowledgeable on the reputable doctors etc. I was very pleased with the Helix Urgent Care not sure what to expect. I walked in with no appointment and didnt have a real long wait. They were very thorough and the office was very clean. I would NOT hesitate to return to this Helix. They were All very pleasant and helpful. I give this Helix location 5 out of 5 stars with no reservations about the 5 star review.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My daughter was seen quickly and had a thorough exam with helpful recommendations. The whole process with registration, insurance and follow up was quick and easy. I’d definitely go back if needed and highly recommend.

I cant say enough about the great staff at the Lake Park Helix facility.Ive had the occasion to visit other clinics but never one staffed by such professional people. The care and patience received was so comforting.I would have no reservations about going to a clinic again if necessary, I hope their clinic is a success to the community as well. Their staff was wonderful. My sincere gratitude.

I went at 7:20 on a Monday night and was seen within 5 minutes. Had a diagnosis within 2 minutes, an RX called in and on my way out the door. Best experience ever!

We write reviews when we feel very strongly about something. My original review I was upset because I came in for a strep throat and left with an ear infection. Now Im grateful that my clinician was able to call in more medication for me over the phone instead of waiting hours to see someone again for the same problem.

The staff was friendly and courteous and Judith Jensen, the APRN who saw me, was great. I felt very comfortable in her care. Lovely woman, who clearly loves her work. My only qualm was the wait time, due to her being the only one on duty seeing patients.

Had an amazing experience at Helix. The staff was attentive. They asked lots of questions and didn’t just diagnose me with the latest bug to be circulating. The doctor was kind and professional. She knew right away what I was feeling and how to help me. Would definitely recommend Helix Urgent Care to Friends and family and would definitely return if I needed.

I went in for a swollen knee and they were very thorough. They had all of my information from previous visits saved so it made check in easy. I got X-rays and pain relief with a referral and recommendation with the best way to handle my injury going forward. As usual, I had a great nurse and good visit. They are my go to Urgent Care!

The only disappointment was waiting four hours to be seen. It seemed as though the people who were getting covid test had priority. I guess I get it. I gave a full 5 stars as the facility was clean and covid protocols were adhered to. Also, the staff were kind and considerate. When I saw the Doctor she was knowledgeable and immediately sent me to a freestanding emergency facility. In turn, that facility had me transported to the hospital. The doctor at Helix most likely saved my life. I have nothing but praise for that Helix facility.

Dr Judy is absolutely incredible. Staff was amazing. Went in thinking I had pneumonia but was bronchitis. Three days later Im feeling much better just as Dr Judy said I would. My insurance covered everything. I have FL blue ppo and copay was only $5. Had a chest x-ray and another covid test just to be on the safe side although I have been vaccinated with Pfizer. Highly recommend this urgent care facility..they truly care. Thank you Dr Judy and nurse sierra!!!!!

My experience with urgent care was phenomenalThe receptionist they were very polite and professional. Not to mention the doctors especially doctor Judy she was very warm, inviting, professional and truly a woman of God. Wish we had more people like these wonderful workers at urgent care they are really caring.GOD BLESS THEM ALL

I personally do not recommend this place and won’t go back again because I heard the PA right around the corner from the room I was in mocking me saying “this isn’t a movie stop crying and being so dramatic! etc.” in a nasty attitude. Her co workers laughed and agreed. They did find and had a severe infection and high fever so clearly if I’m in pain and cry for a moment maybe just a tad sympathetic instead of bullying.. we can hear everything through the walls ladies. Wasn’t very nice.

Veronica the DR assistant was pleasant and kind. The secretary was as well.I had to wait a bit as there seemed to be a very sick little girl there who needed attention.The Dr was excellent, asking many questions thorough for sure and gave me lots of tips on my situation as well as print outs of our visit and preventatives. I highly recommend this urgent care! Thank you

Came in Saturday because of dizziness i recently started experiencing. The shortest wait and the staff were very helpful they smiled here 😳... The doctors were and nurses caring 😳 asking the right questions, and listed to me I was scared of what I was going through and they truly makes me feel hopefully. I would highly recommend this location. Thanks guys

Very professional and efficient .i was in a car wreck and was having severe back and neck pain . Took X-rays which didn’t show anything and wrote me two prescriptions for drugs I had never heard of and I didn’t pick up . Didn’t take MRI or recommend any treatments . I don’t think I would go back.

I had a severe cold so I went into the walk-in clinic on a Saturday. Doctor refused to give me any antibiotics and said that I didnt need it. Prescribe me steroids and told me to take over the counter called medicine... A week later charge my card $153 for a 5-minute visit. (Insurance was provided) website non-responsive to login or return email to my questions... This is a great walk-in clinic if you dont want the doctor to listen to your recommendations if you dont mind being charged or ridiculous amount of money to be told to take over the count and then have to pay more money to go to a different walk-in clinic to get the original antibiotics you requested

The girls at the desk were very sweet .the doctor was wonderful . Super nice and helpful . The nurse that takes your vitals needs to b more kind . But overall very nice place

As an out of towner walk in I expected a long wait. Everyone I talked to was friendly and knowledgeable and I was in and out in an hour. Pleasant experience!

They were quick & efficient. The doctor and medical staff were attentive and listened to what my medical concerns/ issue were and they addressed then quickly and with care. They Called in a prescription to my pharmacy which I was able to pick up within the hour. Like I said quick and efficient. Thats how all medical facilities should run. I hope they stay that way.

Best medical experience of my life, Judith Jensen, ARNP was absolutely the best. She’s very knowledgeable and at the same time makes you feel so at ease. Very warm personality and was just perfect. The whole staff was super cool. Loved this place and no wait.

Awesome experience! I went to this urgent care due to a foot injury and I only have great things to say. .Everyone I encountered from check-in to check-out was thoughtful, caring and extremely competent. I am a front-line medical provider in a hospital and was very impressed with the staff and care I received. I HIGHLY recommend Helix in PBG.

Authorized for the Va urgent care program. However my experience with them so far proves they are not Veteran sensitive. Frankly did not want to see me for a minor eye issue. Clear fluid and nasal pain. Not pink eye, no fever, eyes clear just runny. Va pays 100% but they required my debit card!!!Va Admin will be notified and my thoughts and experience will be shared with them asap.Oh its empty here parking lot empty waiting area empty. Its not busy at all. My other issue is the receptionist ask for my card and then asked me to have a seat... wait leave my card? So I suggested when shes ready to add my card in to please let me know. I get that does not eliminate fraud but it seemed odd to ask for my card keep it and ask me to sit down. I called the Va and was advised to leave without being seen.

The staff at this Urgent Care was very professional and polite from the front desk check in through the interactions with the nurse, physician assistant, and doctor. They swiftly handled a concerning situation with such ease, gentleness, and confidence, that it was highly reassuring. The level of care far superseded expectations.

Came here a couple weeks ago for chest pain. Staff was attentive but strange. Nice people and not a ton of waiting. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong but with insurance my copay was only about $20. Almost threw up while giving a blood sample but that’s not their fault. Perfect for those who are on the fence about going to the emergency room but feel as though they need medical attention.

Unfortunately I’ve had to visit urgent care a few times over the past year. When I finally tried Helix, I never went anywhere else! I kinda hate to promote more patients because it may impact my wait time negatively 😊. Seriously, if you ever need care and try Helix, I can almost guarantee that you’d never try another place! I’ve been seen by multiple practitioners in my life but NONE as astute, professional, exact, and pleasant as Ria. Omg! The entire staff is nothing short of amazing when it comes to care! I don’t look forward to getting sick or needing care again soon, but if I do, I find solace in knowing EXACTLY where to go for treatment done right! Helix is the place! Btw, an office mate was returning to their urgent care because the Rx didn’t provide any relief after a week. Persuaded them to try Helix. They said Ria was so great and thorough!!! And she performed tests that were not done at theirs! As a result, they were correctly diagnosed and correctly prescribed treatment. That was just yesterday, but I’m sure they’ll be better soon!

Ok I should have sought treatment earlier but shortly before closing on a Friday evening I sought treatment at Helix Urgent care on advice of a friend.I was greeted warmly, not rushed and attended to immediately. The facility was spotless and all staff professional.Dr. was gracious & considerate attentive to my concerns. I have meds, recovering & would not hesitate to return if needed.

Polite staff. Friendly physician. Very short wait time. I went on my lunch break on a Friday for a quick covid test for peace of mind. I was in and out quickly. Back to work before my break was over. Got results in two days. Good experience. I will use them for urgent care moving forward.

Staff was professional, efficient and kind. Wait time was minimal. The doctor who saw my son went out of her way to make sure he was comfortable with her. She also offered me some medical advice when she heard I had stage four cancer :)

They couldnt figure out how to bill my insurance so I couldnt receive care. I verified with insurance they they are indeed in network so staff just couldnt figure out how to bill it and sent me away.

Arrived at 8am and the check in desk staff gave a friendly greeting and checked me in right away, very easy process to sign a few forms on a tablet. Minimal wait time to be brought back for vitals check and then off to the Dr. Didnt have to wait long. All staff were very courteous and professional. Out by 8:35am.

The doctor was compassionate which I needed at the time of treatment. I saw professionalism from the front door staff to the billing staff. Everyone was very kind. I appreciate the man taking the time to go over my discharge papers to make sure I understood everything. Im a nurse myself n i felt the compassion i have for my patients was given back to me last night. Thank u for caring.

I had a highly pleasant experience here! I visited for my first time after work around 5:30 and was concerned that it would be a long wait but I was seen within ten minutes of arriving! Filling out paperwork is fun and easy with the iPad like equipment. Doctor was kind, funny, and knew his stuff!! Very highly recommended.

EXTREMELY helpful and patient centric.The braindead pharmacies would NOT refill a prescription from NJ. The pharmacist suggested I go to an urgent care for a visit and a script m. I did. And the idiot pharmacy still wouldn’t fill it.But the staff at Helix were all top notch. They even tried 2 other pharmacies for me. That is above and beyond.

I was pleased with my experience at Helix Urgent Care. The wait time was minimal, they listened to my concerns, and treated me according to my symptoms and complaints. I would strongly recommend this facility to any one in need of urgent care. I appreciated the cleanliness and personal care that was given!

I just moved to North Palm Beach on March 1st. The pain was getting worse and I didn’t know where to go. I saw Helix and went there. The entire staff made me feel like I had been a patient there all my life. Professional, friendly and Dr Jensen was the beat. If you knew my medical history, you would understand how huge a compliment that is. God bless.

I called ahead to make an appointment which they confirmed via email but when I arrived they took other walk in patients who came in after me. I asked about my appointment and she said it’s first come first serve and my appointment wasn’t really an appointment. They also take a $150 “deposit” for the visit before billing your insurance company but they did not mention that over the phone when I asked if they took insurance and they confirmed they accepted mine. Lastly, the doctor I saw was somewhat arrogant. He was very critical of the fact that I first consulted a licensed physician via an online appointment with video and then suggested I was not really as sick as I was feeling since he did not see ear infections or a fever.The antibiotics he gave me are working though so the end result is I am getting better. I will try another clinic next time but since my phone visits have worked just fine in the past I will continue to go that route first.

I went to see Dr. Thomas the first time about a year ago for a flu-like cough and related symptoms. the office is clean, the receptionist was accommodating and my wait time was under 15 minutes. I recently went back only to find the office just as clean, the receptionist just as accommodating and the wait time less than 10 minutes!!!What a great experience and not to mention they took my insurance and filled all my prescriptions on the spot at their own pharmacy!!!Love Gardens Urgent Care. Booyah!!!

I came in for a specialsituation and from the moment I walked in every one that helped me saw I was in pain and were were so carring even the my case manager came inside and introduced herself and made sure everything I needed was done by the next day and even made me aware of somethings that I should bring them up to my doctor. I felt so grateful and special. Helix is very lucky to have such carring genuine people and I hope your company knows how far and between it us to find real people that loves their jobs. Everyone was nice. Lots of ill people and they were being processed as quickly as they can. What I did not like was the almost 2hr wait in total for a covid test. 55min wait to be called and almost another hour to sit in a room to be seen by the doctor after the test was already conducted. They should have a dedicated covid nurse for processing.

Couldn’t speak with strep throat.... efficiently checked me in and now I can say (although I will write for this purpose) reception nurse and doctor were all kind, caring, compassionate professionals!!! Not the feeling of a clinic, but an old fashion general practitioner. I believe they truly care.

Everyone was super friendly and efficient. They went above and beyond to go out to my vehicle and take my sons vitals and covid test, since he had an immobilizer on his leg. The girls were very personable and helpful. Thank you for a great experience!

I love the Helix urgent care, the are very pleasant, convenient and up to date in their technology ( NO STACK OF BORING PAPER) I was able to sign in and complete my information via their smart tablet and they are kid friendly too, for their needs too from school forms and physicals to an child under age 14 EMCs to an auto accident. The staff and doctor that I seen was very professional and concerned about my reason for the visit. I would highly recommend to my family, friends and anyone I come in contact with. Thanks again.

I would like to know why Helix does not use insurance for Rapid Covid tests. Instead they charge you $125. Is this even normal, and then after a positive result, they tell you no medicine unless you get worse. So I paid $125 for basically nothing I could do on my own. I will contact the insurance commissioner and find out if this is normal procedure or just theirs. Also will be contacting the board of medical examiner and find out if this is normal.

Ive been going here many times and always find them conscientious, attentive, and courteous. I went in with a pneumonia that wasdiagnosed and treated rapidly. The new office is very up to date and inviting. Thanks for the good care. Trecia Weinkam

Have used this Urgent Care location for a while and even though Helix took it over, its still a great place to go for minor emergencies. The staff is incredibly friendly and everyone there is very knowledgeable. I would definitely rate this an A+ location!

Went there today and I am self pay they gladly took all my money and my son literally can’t swallow his own spit!! To even take any medicine and she can’t even prescribe him any kind of spray or anything!! She says go to ER!! And get another bill to get what she should have done in the first place!! Complete joke! You are no longer a patient you are just a number here! Nurse practitioner Judy should really take a look at her cold heart!! Ive been to Helix twice about a year apart for a broken foot, yes broke my foot twice, and they gave very could care. The waiting wasnt too bad , and the Dr took time to show me my xrays and where the breaks aka fractures were. Most drs dont take that extra step, and I really appreciated that The staff is kind, gentle and went out of their way to make sure I was alright to get home safe. I recommend Helix for all non emergency care. Thank you.

I was denied medical treatment bc I didn’t have a credit card. They refused my cash & insurance. “Said policy states they can only give me medical help if I give them my credit card”.

I wish I could give them zero stars. I visited this location for my daughters physical and tdap vaccine. After sending the completed forms to my daughters school, I was told the documents they gave me as proof wont work. They have specific forms for the vaccine and the tdap for school.. I called and spoke to a data clerk and he was beyond rude, after spending over a hundred dollars, he told me to go to a clinic if the document I received isnt sufficient. As soon as I started to respond to his aggressive tone, he hung up on me. Now Im stuck taking time off work to fix something they shouldve done. NEVER AGAIN

I went here first on a sunday with a lot of pain due to an infection. Between Dr. Paul Lopreato and ARNP Judith Jensen I could not have asked for better medical staff. From checking in at the front desk to going over the discharge paperwork everyone was polite, professional, efficent, and most importantly caring. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the people that work here.

The Helix team was pleasant & efficient. Despite many people in the waiting room, they got me in and out in short order. Overall a great experience. Will use them again if the need arises.

What a rip off!!! i went in there with a cold, and told the doctor that antibiotics do not work for me and havent in many years, but yet he prescribed them to me anyway. i told him at that time, that i will have to come back in because the medication doesnt take away all of the cold and im left with a relapse after 2 to 3 weeks. three weeks later i called to find out if he can prescribe something different because i have started to relapse, and they told me not without being seen again, and it would be another 60.00 on top of the 120.00 visit i already paid for. so i drove over there, when i asked if i could just speak to the doctor, they told me not without checking in, and that would be 60.00!! how do they stay in business? i explained that i dont have any health insurance and that this has already cost almost 400.00 with the medications he prescribed that didnt work. they were very cold, and basically told me to leave, or pay up!! i will never go back to this place!! how can these people sleep at night? i thought doctors took an oath? wow!

I will not get in to details of why I was there. Just know I have had this procedure a few times and it is the most painful thing ever!!! Let me tell you I had felt every cut!!! Abby is the most amazing person!!! Told her to go ahead and cut and her and my husband started laughing because he had already done it. Only downfall is knowing insurance. I am in the medical billing field and had to educate her.

I came in late very close to closing for a Covid test and they were able to get me in and diagnose what was going on while remaining welcoming, even though I’m sure they were all just ready to go home by that point. Very pleased with their service and will continue to use them.

Needed medical attention on account of boating accident. I chose this location,because the 10th Ave. Would not accept my Medicare.The Gardens location would,subsequently the staff assisted with getting the admission done and if I am not mistaken, had 3 female staff perform their training to perfection.So the Gardens office is my go to even though the 10th Ave is less than a mile from my home.ThanksGeorge

Pleasant experience from greeting to discharge. Found a friendly nurse/radiologist Sue very accommodating and professional, made the x-ray process easy. Only suggestion would be to mind the room temperature, I found it was quite chilly.

The NP Judy Jensen was awesome in treating my wound. She cleaned me up, wrapped me up and explained how to take care of myself to prevent future infection. Glad I went to Helix as my primary would not have spent half the time or effort in helping me get back to healthy. Thank you Judy!!!

Absolutely awful!No doctor on staff, which I was not informed of.The PA (Michelle) was completely incompetent, I knew FAR more than she did!When I asked for X-rays (not offered though clearly indicated for the reason I was there), she “accused” me of asking for a definitive answer to my problem. Well YEAH, that’s kind of why I’m there, to find out what’s wrong!I stated I’d like to at least rule in OR out whatever it might be, and she continued to argue with me, while rattling off multiple possibilities, most of which required X-rays! She offered prescriptions, multiple times, for something not even diagnosed!, which I declined. Why am I going to take meds for unknown reasons?!So I finally asked, “Do you not do X-rays here, is that the problem?”....she said they did.I said okayyyy, then.....??She then informed me X-rays would be an additional charge. I said I assumed as much, and that was fine. She continued to repeat potential diagnoses, including X-rays!!!!, and I kept agreeing to the X-rays, and she kept ‘warning’ me that they cost extra.After the fourth go round of this, I decided I’d had enough. I said it was obvious she did not want to do X-rays for whatever unknown reasons, and it seems I made a mistake in coming there.I decided to leave, and spoke with the manager about my experience on the way out, and asked about seeing the doctor, instead of this PA.That’s when I was informed that they did not have a doctor scheduled until next MONTH!!I know there was nothing the manager could really do, but I at least wanted my complaint on record. I SHOULD have been told upon check in that they had no doctor available, at least let me make the decision then on whether to be seen. Instead they took my money and kept quiet until it was way too late.Considering no one had done anything except having me fill out paperwork and took my blood pressure, and nothing at all was done, it would have been nice to have been offered to be refunded.I didn’t ask, but the offer would have been justified.The manager just stood there and listened, and told me I could go to their Jupiter location if I wanted to, they had a doctor there. Of course, I’d have to pay all over again just to walk in the door at that location.So now I’m at the ER....where I’ll wait MUCH longer, but actually get proper testing done. Unreal!Avoid this clinic like the plague! You won’t see a doctor anyway, there’s really no point in going unless you like spending money for medical treatment where not only isn’t it offered, it’s apparently discouraged!

Absolutely terrible. Was very happy with the doctor that saw me but the business is out for your money. They sent bills to the wrong apartment in the same building and I had no idea until a lawyer called me. Now I have a bill I cant afford. BE AWARE!

I’d give them zero stars if I could. Insurance fraud at it’s finest. I went in for a sinus infection and was told that I would only be responsible for anything that was outside of the scope of a regular visit. I literally saw the dr for about 2 min just to get some antibiotics. I paid my urgent care co-pay and thought that would be it. Apparently this dr must have done something extra that I must not be aware of because they billed my insurance company and now I owe another $189. I know they do this because it’s so complicated to get anything corrected with insurance billing. I’ll stick with MD Now because at least I know that they bill insurance propertly and I won’t get stuck with anything besides my co-pays for a sick visit. Scammers!!!!

Its clean and seems to always be open even on holidays and they have extended hours when others have been closed.The lady at the reception desk is very nice and great with the kids. Dr. Matthew is great and takes his time with you but other Doctors ive seen there rush and you wait for LONG times.

I had a problem in October of 2018, went to this clinic. I paid my copayment, I swiped my card on the iPad. I received a notice in the mail 1.5 months ago stating I was over due. It was 13.50 that I owed, they sent one email which went into my spam folder, I only knew to check there because I called the billing dept and they said oh well we sent ONE email. I save al my voicemails I don’t even have a phone call. They charged me 35.00 to actually mail me an invoice. When I spoke to the lady at the billing dept, she said well that was our policy last year but it is no longer in effect. So I found this absurd and requested to speak to a supervisor. She said she would have one call me. I didn’t think twice about it and honestly forgot. Got a bill from a collections agency LOL are you guys out of your mind? Then I continue to call the billing dept, I walked into the clinic yesterday requesting a manager call me. Had not heard, called again got sent to voicemail. I have never seen such poor billing in my life and I work in the industry. This is piss poor communications and client services. I was in there 2 weeks ago again, you could have just settled it then. I have already called the collection company to explain my dispute. I hope this explaination opens the eyes of whoever is in the billing dept and they have the decency to call me. I have done my part trying to settle a bill for flipping 13.50 I was disputing the 35.00 mailing fee which is no longer in effect.

I had a last min physical that I needed done for my kid. I went here and was meet with pleasant and sincere staff not to mention we were out in mins.

The fact that the main doctor needs to brush his teeth and wash his hair! Went here last year with a severe abdominal pain and fever and diarrhea The doctor was more a palled at me being a larger woman and started to accuse of many other health conditions turned out I had an severe intestinal infection and all he wouldve had to do was run a simple blood test to see it this office took my money and sent me to an ER anyway they didnt treat me for anything I will never go here or recommend anybody to go here stay far away......

Thought I had something in my eye. Saw Judith a nurse practitioner who fortunately had a lot of experience with eyes. She diagnosed a corneal abrasion and referred me to an optometrist who could treat this. She personally called him and he saw me the same day. Excellent evaluation and referral.

Terrible experience would never refer anyone there. I was the only one there took 1,hour to see the,doctor from the time i walked in the door and out. Thry said they would call in my script to piblix i wasted 45 minutes figuring it may take awhike for them to prepare. I het thete and,they NEVER called it in. Now i have to wait another 40 for my prescription because of their negligence . I will never ne back there again

I had a great experience at Helix this Saturday afternoon. Judy the ANRP is nothing short of great. She was not only thorough but also she was very kind. Judy has a fabulous bedside manner. I arrived in terrible pain from lower abdomen and urination. I had a urinary tract infection (UTI), which is what I suspected. They collected a urine sample and immediately diagnosed blood in urine and infection. To put me out of pain, I did have to get a shot in the hiney. I’m a baby too. Judy explained how to prevent UTI in future. This clinic is the place to go if you are in the gardens area.

It was a great experience. I felt confident and at peace I was in good hands. Thank you. Glad I found u.

I had gotten stung by a jellyfish, and I am new to south Florida. I didn’t really have any idea on what to do or where to go. Helix Urgent Care at Palm Beach Gardens did an amazing job addressing it immediately and the staff was very talkative and friendly. Will suggest this urgent care to anyone!

Went in for help with fluid in the ear. Was told I had an infection, prescribed antibiotic drops. Had an allergic reaction to the drops. Went back, saw Dr. Thomas who had to prescribe more meds to stop the allergic reaction. Went back for a follow up for the original ear problem and had the worse treatment from Dr. Matfas. Didnt know my name, didnt know why I was there. Took a 3 second look at the ear and set you can go. I said whats going on with the infection he said there isnt one, you can go. I said I am still having the original problem and he walked out the door. Told the PA (?) Mark how rude the Dr. was and how Id never go back. Not to mention the unpleasant, surly woman at the front desk. Most unfriendly person I have met in a long time. Go somewhere else. Its not worth being treated like this.

I am visiting Palm Beach from New York and was not feeling well. I visit Helix, a care that took my insurance. From the receptionist to the nurse and PA I saw. The care I received was outstanding. Thank you all so much.

Went to Helix in terrible pain. They Xrayed my elbow and determined that is was dislocated. They called the Emergency room at the Hospital to have me admitted there. I felt that they were caring and helpful in getting me additional treatment!

Do yourself a favor and go to another facility. The PA Mr. Exantus is incompetent. I visited over the weekend with a rash all over my face, lips, and arms. I was seen by Mr. Exantus, who failed to perform a history and physical, failed to question me about anything that could be a contributing factor, and chose to merely focus on the blisters on my lips, stating that it was a cold sore outbreak.I am a medical health professional in the area, and I chose not to inform him of this fact, instead hoping to receive the same treatment that any lay person in the area would receive. To put it mildly, I was shocked to see how he acted. I informed him that given my history, a cold sore would not be probable, to which he shrugged off as blabber. I asked him for a culture in order to get a definitive diagnosis, which he replied thats not necessary, its pretty definitive. He ended up prescribing antivirals, which obviously did nothing for me because it was an allergic reaction! On the following Monday, I went to my primary care physician, who quickly diagnosed it correctly (mango allergy) based on a few simple questions.To add even more insult to injury, the office failed to properly send my claim to the insurance company, who denied the claim and stuck me with the bill. This was 6 months ago, and I am still dealing with this urgent care facility to get the bill straightened out.In short, stay away! You have been warned.

Dr Thomas did not submit one of the prescriptions to my pharmacy. Also, one of the medications did not work and getting in touch with him to get it changed for the relief I needed through the office staff was terrible. I recommend finding another urgent care.

Came here after going to a different urgent care in town. Very knowledgeable doctor, but best of all, they actually answer the phone when you call. Reviews matter. Don’t go somewhere where the phone is answered by a call center

This is a business looking to nickle and dime you every chance they have. Was charged to receive my lab results after I had already paid for the lab tests. This place is a sham, save your money and find a more professional outfit.

They wont diagnose you properly, but at least they are nice LOL. They told me my finger was broken; I followed up with my surgeon and he said it was cracked at the most and he didnt really see anything on the X-ray. I guess they were preventive :-)

Couldnt get an appt with my DR so went to Helix. Dealing with an issue for several months. After 24 hours Im already feeling so much better. THANK YOU HELIX!!

They charged me $150 for a pre op medical clearance only for them to never send the paperwork to my surgeon. This ended up delaying my surgery and had me looking pretty stupid in the doctors office. Never again. Seems like they only care about getting your money.

The workers are nice. BUT THEIR BILLING IS HORRIBLE. I GET AN EMAIL THAT I HAVE A BALANCE DUE. OK FINE 4 DAYS LATER THEY TAKE IT OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AUTOMATICALLY. THEY LADY SAYS OH YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE EMAIL. I SAID ALL I GOT WAS IT SAYING I HAVE A BALANCE. THEY DO NOT DO PAYMENTS. THEY WILL JUST TAKE IT OUT WITH TELLING YOU. BE VERY CAREFUL GOING HERE IF YOU HAVE TO PAY.

I went to this location in North Palm Beach Northlake Blvd. and they didn’t give me any information towards how long I would have to stay out of work and I try to get the information over the phone. I called three times and the phone was hung up on me.

This place is easily located, not busy, and efficient. My only reason for the lack of the 5th star was that no one discussed the result of one of my tests with me, just handed me discharge papers for me to figure out for myself. I thought that was quite unprofessional.

Very competent and pleasant staff. I have been there 2 times now in the last 6 mos. A friend recommended Helix to me originally and I was not disappointed.

Front desk/check in(girl with dreads) was very rude and unprofessional she was on the phone with her friend the whole time cursing and laughing and acted like I was disturbing her by walking in. The only saving grace is the physicians and nurses in the back they were very professional and polite.

The staff was efficient! Had a sinus infection and was treated within the hour and left with prescription. Very clean.
