NextCare Urgent Care Lincoln

I was needing to speak with professionals about my ongoing condition, so decided to stop at NextCare. The staff was cordial and welcoming and as a result I learned what I needed to know about the scope and focus of their operation. As I suspected, they are oriented toward immediate treatment for specific illness and injury rather than researching vague and lesser known illnesses. Their communication was excellent, and I came away with a clear and helpful understanding of their function as compared with a hospital emergency room. I found the visit well worth my time and effort, and I cannot thank them enough for their understanding. I give them a maximum quality rating along with my gratitude for the enlightenment they provided me!

NextCare is close to my home. Staff, nurses and doctor very nice and patient with me. I have an earache with COVID and wanted help quickly. I got it with a smile and great care!!Today, I went back to NextCare for a follow-up visit. I was reassured that my symptoms, hopefully would continue to lessen and what steps I should take for the next week. Then to follow-up with my GP provider after that if I wasn’t 100% symptom free. Thank you again seeing me so quickly and with great care! I highly recommend NextCare as an excellent choice for your immediate medial care and peace of mind!!

Overall care was amazing. Front desk reception was quick and kind, I was called back within 5 minutes of being seated in the waiting room. However, I was a bit confused on why they didn’t weigh or measure me and just asked me, but that’s just a small detail. I saw Jason McCoy and he was extremely polite and caring. He made sure I was comfortable and fully understood my diagnosis, even wrote a doctor’s note due to missing university classes. Would 10/10 recommend!

I have never been to a clinic that I was able to get in early, not stuck in waiting room for an extended period of time.  From the front desk attendant, to the welcoming and understanding nurse to the P.A on staff, all OUTSTANDING!!  No hesitation in returning, IF needed.Much Appreciation!!!

This is my FAVORITE location to go to if I or a family member is ill. The entire staff is always so sweet and welcoming. The physicians all have a wonderful bedside manner and they all are so caring. Highly recommend! FYI ... The location is the Urgent Care on 66th and O Street

I rolled in here with an injured thumb. The receptionist was amazing and helped me with getting stuff she needed then helped me put it back. The triage/x ray person was super cool snd the doctor listened and made sure I didn’t have bone chips in the injured area. Everyone I dealt with was very nice in a painful moment.

I have been struggling with a terrible cold/cough for 3 weeks. I went to the clinic as a walk-in last week and there were so many people waiting that I decided to make an appointment online. When I arrived, there were just 5 other people waiting so I paid my co-pay and took a seat. After more than an hour, I was called into a room where they took my vital signs and then directed to an examining room and was told that Jason would be with me. After spending another 30 minutes in the exam room I decided to just go home, as I was feeling so miserable. As I left, I saw that one of the health care providers (who I assume was Jason) was on the telephone. He looked at me as I walked out and I explained to the receptionist that I felt so terrible that I couldn’t wait any longer, especially if it was going to be at least another hour before someone could see me. I understand that flu/cold has been particularly bad this year and that urgent care clinics are likely extremely busy. However, with so few waiting to be seen, I do not understand why I had to wait for such a long period of time without any communication from the staff as to an approximate time I would be seen, and after having scheduled an appointment ahead of time. I would think that they would have made certain to be adequately staffed, as well, considering the number of people who seem to be dealing with the same symptoms. This location is extremely convenient for me, but in the future I will be seeking urgent care from other locations in Lincoln. I have gone to other locations in the past for various medical issues and have never had an experience like this. I realize that when seeking care at an urgent care facility, it is understood that there will be a wait time and have never expected to be seen immediately. However, I would have appreciated at least some communication from the staff as to approximately when I might have expected to see one of the healthcare staff. There are many better clinics in Lincoln and would definitely not recommend this particular one. Unfortunately, I also had to pay my co-pay up front, which ended up being a waste of money.

My visit was great. Virtually no waiting. The care provider was attentive and expedient. Everyone was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this urgent care.

We were in and out. We didn’t know what was going on with my hand but everyone else did. Everyone was so kind and the doc very understanding. He explains the issue and further steps.A great experience

I came in without booking an appointment online. The front desk staff was very accommodating and very friendly. The environment was very clean and festive. I got to see the provider very quickly. The provider was very professional and provided quality care. This is the only urgent care I use in Lincoln.

I am incredibly frustrated with NextCare’s billing department. I have been trying to resolve a billing issue since mid-December and have made numerous attempts to contact the billing department. Every time I call, I am immediately put on hold indefinitely. I’m convinced no one actually works in that department.I even reached out to the clinic directly, hoping they could help, but they told me there’s nothing they can do on their end. This is completely unacceptable for a company that provides healthcare services—patients should not have to jump through endless hoops to resolve billing issues.

There care was outstanding... Better then any urgent care Ive been too... They are hands down the best in town... I will recommend them to anyone that needs immediate care... Thumbs up to NextCare... Thanks again...

They were very attentive. The wait was a little while but once I got back it seemed to go quickly. The nurse practitioner I saw was very thorough and didnt leave anything to chance! I would recommend this place for an emergency situation.

Staff was wonderful. The only reason I rated for instead of five was because radiology report did not come back till a day later. Otherwise all great.

I went there a year ago in January and all was good my insurance covered it. But now Im being told over a year later that I owe them money but none of this was ever mentioned until now... Very shady practice

I was seen very quickly. The staff and doctor were all pleasant and efficient. I felt they took time to explain the condition thoroughly.

NEVER AGAIN. Booked an 8 am appointment online, nobody ever showed up to open the place. At 8:30 I called a different location that informed me that my location wasnt opening till 10:30 on the day I went. REALLY??? Not a sign anywhere stating this, and they allowed me to book the appointment. This is my 2nd time here, and my 2nd terrible experience. I will find somewhere else to go from now on. Tried to contact customer service, and never heard a word back from them. Very upsetting.

Called last min an helped me when I was in a pinch. Nicest front desk lady, was very welcoming an kind. Was in an out an got what I needed to feel better quick.

What is the point of booking online if they don’t even stay on schedule? My appointment was a half hour ago and there are still two people ahead of me apparently! Walk ins still go in line ahead of appointments so they just manipulate and act like an appointment will be helpful and be more on schedule. If I had an appointment the walk in should wait while I go!They made me pay $15 for my appointment. They did NOT apply it to my account. Then when I paid my statement, they applied to the wrong account. THEN when my husband went in they erroneously charged him $75. DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY! Three billings errors in 2024.

The people were very nice, but I specifically went for labs to be done because their website says that they do them. Upon check in, I said I needed labs done. When the doctor came to see me, he told me they don’t do labs like how I want(to check for deficiencies and hormonal issues) and that was it. Nice people, but it would’ve been nice if their website specified what labs they do and don’t do, or if they would have told me at the check in counter.

I did not get past the waiting room! My provider for health expenses is considered SELF PAY, which is fine because I am OK with paying upfront! I was told at the check-in desk, that the cost to me was going to be $335 (suffering w/sinus issues) just to walk into the back to see the doctor. This was gonna be my charge, even though there was no paperwork (no Insur to file) required since I was self pay! Somewhat an outlandish charge when you, Urgent Care could’ve had money paid on the spot, cash in bank for Urgent Care at very little expense!! I went home and used the Teladoc that is being offered by Christian Health Ministries now. No mor Urgent Care!!!

Online it shows an affordable subscription service around $40 per month and $40 per visit for people without health insurance. When I went in the receptionist told me not to bother because it would be over $400 just for ear infection treatment.

The doctor was very nice, and so were all the other staff. Minimal waiting time. Quick and efficient.

Our Vist was very fast. They got us in with in 10 min .the Dr was very kind. He even has our prescription called in before we left.

Online check-in was fast and easy. I checked in at 1:30 p.m. and was seen for a 1:45 p.m. appointment. The receptionist was pleasant and sweet. The provider, Jason, was friendly and kind. It was a great experience in every way.

Aaron was super helpful, from the time I called the facility, to getting there, and even as I was going out the door. Definitely amazing member to have part of the team.Entire staff was friendly and efficient.Thanks all for what you do.

Everyone was so friendly and professional. My only negative is that the prescription for an eye irritation issue I’m having was not called in. However, the medication for my cold was prescribed.

I waited forever in the lobby and when taken back it felt rushed. The doctor was very pleasant though and helpful.

In and out quickly! I felt horrible with upper respiratory/sinus infection, was home with meds in an hour.

Came in with what I suspected was a sinus infection. Turns out, thats what I have. They also tested me for other stuff to ease my mind that I dont have something worse.

I wish they could have prescribed the medication that would have helped but I understand there are regulations behind that.

The Dr that we saw was very nice. He did a wonderful job explaining everything.He took his time to make sure he checked all the boxes. He answered all our questions or concerns I had. They were nice there but basically they didn’t do much because urine check and then told me to go to ER with symptoms I don’t believe warranted an ER visit. It’s kinda a joke to go there

Last time i was there i was waiting 2 hours past when our appointment was scheduled before i was taken back, and then waited another hour before the pain from my finger infection that needed to be drained got too much and I had to go to urgent care on south 70th. I was also told that I was being too loud for literally breathing hard in an enclosed room 3 hours past when I needed to be helped. You guys are the worst, dont ever come here.

Easy to make an appointment online to have the paperwork filled out ahead of time and to choose a time slot. Gave some natural remedies to help my issue instead of jumping straight to steroids. Super friendly office

The doctor I saw was not very friendly and kept finding something to argue about.The receptionist was super friendly and she made it easy for me to check in though.Based on my experience with the doctor though, I won’t be coming back. She was rude and didn’t care about listening to what I was trying to say.

Staff was super polite and helpful when I did get help. I waited for 2.5 hours even though they gave me a window of when to come back. So that was a little frustrating. All I needed with a flu test, and I ended up getting 2 other tests and no answers, which is going to happen sometimes. Not their fault.

The entire experience from start to finish was seamless. The environment was welcoming, the receptionists made it quick and painless, no pun intended. The provider was polite, knowledgeable, and informative. I would highly recommend this urgent care. It was my first time going there for X-rays on a fall I had earlier in the week.

I’m from Louisiana and needed a physical and TB test. I Scheduled Appointment and when I arrived everyone was so professional from start to finish. The atmosphere was so relaxing Everything was explained to me and the Physician was great. Thank you all for being so kind to me.

The doctor was the worst Ive seen. She literally said No need to do any more than absolutely necessary. I just want to get out of here. Now, this may sound like I was asking for a lot, but she was in my room less than 30 seconds. I asked if she was going to do more than look at my throat for more than 2 seconds. It was clear she didnt care at all. Just threw me on antibiotics without asking any questions and told me thatll fix whatever is the issue. It was ridiculous.Do not go here. It was pathetically bad service.

They literally did nothing for me and charged me $75 copay when all other urgent cares are $30. I paid my bill April and they sent another bill this month. So not only bad care but their financing department can’t keep bills straight. Do not come to this location.

The process was fast and got me prescribed with some medicine that really got me feeling better!!

My daughters needed sports physicals before school started the next day. Online scheduling was easy, appointments were readily available. The receptionist/ front desk staff and Christina the manager, were so nice, pleasant and welcoming. The girls were able to have the sports physicals completed in a timely manner and out the door. Will make this preferred clinic when we are unable to see our regular pediatrician.

Do NOT go here. the healthcare is average nothing special. the BILLING DEPARTMENT is unorganized. on my first visit, I paid my bill in full right after I was done seeing the PA. I also visited again a few months later. shockingly, I received a bill for that first visit. it seems like this location did not send the billing department my payment. disputing this charge required me to visit the location, get a receipt if my payment, and emailing it to the billing department of Nextcare. In my second visit, I was charged ~$20. Sure, fine, I followed the instructions and paid this bill on the online portal. I get an email a few weeks after I already paid saying my bill was now overdue. I call billing services: turns out they put the $20 as payment for my first visit. why? that should’ve already been paid in full.it’s confusing and borderline a scam. I just want these people to leave me alone. I’m not coming back.

The staff here was so polite from the front office to the clinical staff! The dr was very knowledgeable and everyone was so respectful.

Do NOT go here. This place is a waste of money & time. I made an appt on a Sunday for an on going cough, mucus, & throwing up. The front receptionist also had a cough & coughed the entire time he took my info. When I was finally taken back to the Dr./ nurse, I’m not sure what they were, but she was very unprofessionally dress. Her hair was a mess & she had a stain on her shirt. She was just wearing regular street clothes. She asked why I was there & I told her my symptoms. She didn’t check anything, she just prescribed me antibiotics. Then when I went to pay, it was an outrageous amount. I have insurance. He told me without insurance it would be close to $350. I will never go to this place again. I am still sick & I have to make an appointment somewhere else that will actually do some tests & diagnose my symptoms.

Made an appointment online, nobody else there and visit still took 1.5 hours. The intake nurse was great. The provider never introduced herself and didn’t seem to believe me and basically dismissed my symptoms. My entire family has gotten steroids and antibiotic and all i got was eye drops. Doubt i go here again.

I was surprised that I didnt have to wait to be seen. Staff very knowledgeable and courteous. I was grateful to be seen right away since my primary physician couldnt see me for several days, and I worried that my condition could worsen. I was treated for acute bronchitis and prescribed antibiotics.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I made an appt for my daughter at 10 and waited OVER an hr and found out someone was still before me that had waited 1 hr and 45 min… so I made the best choice and left! I went to the urgent care on 70th and pioneers and was in and out in 10 minutes. If you want to be here all day waiting then come to this O st one!

Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. You would get better care from a random strangers grandma than you will at this place. My wife took my daughter to get her ear checked as she was in pain and crying. We made an appointment online for 10 am today and they got there 10 min before. They waited an ENTIRE HOUR while my daughter was sitting in pain and crying. After being told several times they are next and given multiple excuses (x ray machines down? what does that have to do with anything) they finally left. Went to the one on Pioneers and were seen in less than 5 minutes. The only time Ill ever come here again is if I break my leg and only to stop by and tell them Im going somewhere else! Btw they said the guy in front of them had been waiting almost 2 hours so good thing they left when they did.

Kind, professional and helpful. I even had a lab done and was finished in 30 minutes. I arrived near closing time and thought they might not see me. Instead they treated me like they were just starting their day.

Understood the wait but was a little frustrating since we scheduled online and we’re 15 minutes early and had all of our paperwork completed. Our nurse was kind & efficient but didn’t introduce himself-neither did the doctor-pa-APRN or whoever it was that we saw afterwards. I felt like I was being chastised /shamed for the treatments I had given…I would have appreciated if she had just given what she recommended instead.

I was able to book my appointment and check in online. This is a great feature! Friendly and expedient front desk service. I don’t recall her name but the front desk gal was very nice and welcoming. The wait was maybe 5 minutes to get back to the room. PA Jay was thorough and patient oriented. I’ve taken my daughter to this office and was happy with those interactions as well. This was my first experience for myself at this office and I will definitely go back again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I went in for a sinus infection and was told the green snot/phlem was bc pollen is green and suggested I get local honey to help solve my issues. I have worked in the medical field for 18 years and kinda know what I am talking about although I am not a physician. I rarely go to the doctors when I am sick and am not a fan of medication period. I asked for an antibotic and steriod and only left with a prescription for steroid and ended up going to a different urgent care where the doctor did feel it was waranted. I wasted my time and my money. I would only recommed this place to someone that thinks local honey will clear their infection.

They were super kind and patient with my two kids. My oldest has autism and they made sure they were fast and efficient when it was his turn to get checked. I think the only thing that kinda sucked was it was SO HOT in there. But that had nothing to do with the service lol.

They got me in and out in a hurry. They listened to my issue and took care of me, even if they did leak a little pee on my shoe.

My family and I have received accurate diagnoses and treatment for multiple ailments. Scheduling and checking in online or in app makes getting seen outside of regular office hours convenient. Much more convenient when an ER visit isnt really needed. The staff is kind, attentive, and professional.

Amazing staff…from the front desk through to the dr. Very personable…the reason a 5 star wasn’t given is due to the exam room I was examined in, looked to be dried blood or something on the floor. Not in plain view site, but under the chairs.

The people were awesome and the place is nice, but, unless you have good insurance or cash to blow dont go here! The office visit is $205, which they dont post anywhere. I had a 5 min. exam with a PA and a strep test and it cost me $281. Thats outrageous and just not right.

The first time we went here everything was great, PA was calm and patient. This time was completely the opposite the Dr we seen was rude and had no patients with my 8 yr old. I will admit he was very scared and a little over the top, but as to be expected when nothing was explained to him, and was treated as if he was an adult. Probably wont be going back here after this traumatic experience. Everyone else was great.

This was a late visit for us-7:30- almost their closing time. They were able to get us checked in and seen by the doctor in a timely manner. Thank you to the staff for the patience you had for our almost 2 year old and trying your best to keep him calm while performing the strep test.

What a quick, caring, and comforting visit. Was sick with upper respiratory illness- Aetna sent me to NextCare. They took very good care of me. The PA was very thorough and concerned. He talked to me re: what his concerns were and gave me guidelines for when to go to the ER.They did some breathing tests and chest x rays and did a breathing treatment which helped.After I checked out it turned out Aetna did not cover one of the meds prescribed for me. The PA worked with us to get the meds I needed.The lobby/room chairs are very uncomfortable, especially for plus sized and / or pregnant people.Recommend 9/10.

Simply the best Urgent Care experience! Ease of registration, appointments, their marvelous app, modern and clean facility, and a very friendly and capable staff. We’ve used them three times and the experience is always excellent.

I took my daughter there for the first time a couple weeks ago, she was tested for strep, COVID and flu and all the tests came back negative, the doctor told me her tonsils were very swollen and that it was just something viral so she was just given steroids to reduce the inflammation. 4 days ago she started to complain about pain around her eyes and on Friday she woke up with a puffy eye lid, redness around her neck, on her face and other parts of her body and her skin was feeling rough and bumpy. I took her to our family doctor and she now has scarlet fever and strep. Her tonsils were so white and was told by the doctor that she’d never seen something like that before. She was put on antibiotics immediately.The scarlet fever comes after an untreated strep. I recall that the person who did the swabs didn’t look very professional so I’m pretty sure the test wasn’t done correctly.I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but after this I won’t come back ever again and I definitely won’t recommend this place at all.It’s sad because the place has great potential, the lady at the front desk was amazing , the place is nice and clean but one simple person can change everything.I hope you can get more professional people or real nurses who are properly trained to test patients.

Dangerous misdiagnosis!!!! I went to them on a Sunday to see if I had pneumonia. They told me I had absolutely no pneumonia. I went to my general practitioner that Monday and I had pneumonia throughout my whole right lung and a little in my left. The only reason I double checked with my general practitioner was because the doctor at this urgent care heard the fluid in my lungs and she was concerned about a weird mass in my right lung in the X-ray, but then when she consulted the specialist he told her there was absolutely nothing wrong with me. There is no weird mass for the record. They scared me for no reason with that little statement. So please be careful going here. This honestly could have put me in the hospital.

You can register online at any time. When you walk in, the receptionist has all the necessary information. The nurse is efficient and asked all the right questions. The PA /Doctor was competent and listened to my complaints. He suggested an additional test that turned out to provide the diagnosis. I was in and out in an hour.

Was seen in a timely manner. Receptionist and nursing staff were very pleasant and helpful. Dr Powell was very patient, pleasant, and thorough. Would highly recommend. This was my first time use of Urgent Care and will go back in the future if necessary.

Very satisfied with the care the PA gave. I left the office on a Sunday with a diagnosis, a prescription, and a specialist appointment made for the following day.Support staff just as friendly and knowledgeable.

Go to another urgent care if possible. They will charge you extra to do nothing and then fail to give you a real receipt. I fought back and forth with my insurance and their automated system for months and had to end up paying over $80 dollars out of pocket for one of their doctors to tell me to take allergy medicine (which I was already doing) and tough it out. No one there is in a good mood, so I can only assume it is as bad to work there as it is to be treated there. Try an ER or another Urgent Care if possible. This place is an absolute last resort only.

Im glad I made the choice to go see a doctor. With my new insurance deductible starting over, it was a little expensive, but worth every penny. The RN and PA that saw me were very thorough, very caring, and actually treated me instead of the old get plenty of rest and youve got allergies or its just a cold that you often see when going to a doctor you dont know. Its nice that they listen and hold my wellness as priority. I would recommend this clinic. They also have an app that would help with getting checked in. I didnt know about that until yesterday though since it was my first visit there.

If you like waiting 2 hours while there’s literally nobody in the lobby this is the place for you !

They got me in quickly and explained everything clearly and respectfully. I saw Brandy and I’ve never had a doctor make me feel so comfortable and be so patient with me (I ask a lot of questions). She was great, I wish she could be my primary honestly.

The front desk staff were being slammed but still were very patient and polite, and the doctor I saw was very understanding and listened, which can be hard to find as a woman with male doctors. Thank you to all the staff! I always choose this location for non-emergency care.

Accidentally booked at the wrong location and they made it work and transferred my appointment over to the location I was at in a few minutes, very professional appointments staff. I was seen very quickly and was impressed by the promptness and the concern the staff showed for my health. Quick and easy!! I would definitely visit NextCare for my health concerns again! Well Ive been waiting here for just over an hour to be seen. Their receptionist seems confused. It would have been nice if their online booking system would adjust accordingly.Judging by the COUNTLESS reviews mentioning the excessive wait times you can clearly tell they do not care as they have made no improvements to their efficiency or scheduling systems.UPDATE: Two hours and ten minutes until I saw the physicians assistant. You caused me to miss a family gathering.So help me if I get a generic meaningless response from their manager on this. A real leader would personally call if able and would describe the changes they are making to remindy the situation.

Do not go here! You schedule a time but they allow walk ins to go ahead of you. I had a nose bleed and the doctor said it was caused by my high blood pressure. Made me call and change my meds and sent me home. Later that night after taking out her manpon and my nose bleed was way worse. I was bleeding out. Went to the ER and I had a tear in my main artery in my nose and they had to burn it off and install a rapid rhino. I guess if you wanna see a middle school nurse this is your place.

It was fast and very professional. The Dr genuinely seemed to care. I had a good experience.

I am so glad I chose NextCare for my health concern. Each person treated me with true compassion and care. This is a great place for urgent care needs.

The only thing I can complain about this place is I saw a doctor there for exactly three minutes and he sends to the ER. Which I’m fine with, I had already paid my $75 co-pay that’s fine . So I go to leave and the receptionist gives me a bill for an additional $290 for three minutes with a doctor? It’s unbelievable that I should have to take on the bill when no service was provided other than go to the ER.

This location has changed names several times as an MD Urgent Care facility. Same FANTASTIC PEPS! Same marvelous care and in depth expectations, l Do Not Experience with regular physicians.Thank You Brandy PA and Intake Specialist Aaron. Happy Holidays to everyone involved there.

Care was good, the online billing system is absolutely insane. I would advise avoiding a NextCare establishment unless you are very detail oriented. You have to manually enter your account number, patient information and the correct clinic (based on their corporate address in Arizona). To top it all off, there is no confirmation that you have entered the information correctly, you simply say how much you want to pay and hope its being applied correctly. If I had a higher bill, I would be terrified that this company was trying to create opportunities for me to make a mistake.

Not too busy, was very quick in and out. Almost no wait and was able to complete paperwork online beforehand. Text messages were a bit redundant but helpful nonetheless. Great experience (under the circumstances of course).

Molly is not a very good professional for properly diagnosing illness, unfortunately.Edit to add- Every time I have been here, I have been misdiagnosed and not listened to.

Highly recommend! Has us checked in, saw a provider, and out with accurate diagnosis and treatment within 30-45 minutes. Amazing care for my upset and in pain 4 year old.

Always friendly staff. The guy at the front desk is always very helpful. You can tell that they all care about their patients. Usually the lowest wait time out of urgent cares.

As a walk-in clinic we were quite surprised today to find they were only doing virtual visits. Ive tried but its a nightmare doing virtual stiches - but YOLO!

Went into NextCare Urgent care and saw Dr. Reineke and she was awesome. She was beyond helpful in explaining and answering my questions and concerns. The whole staff was friendly and helpful.

First time there, prompt. Polite.

It’s an urgent care. Staff was nice. No one was there. Still had to wait 45 min. Typical urgent care 😂

The room we were sent to felt dirty, we spent almost 3 hours with 2 inconclusive tests and then we got hit with a bill showing multiple instances of the same test. When I called, they said its because they run the same test twice. The whole thing seems really fishy to me.
