My doctor of 22 years can no longer see me because she only sees pregnant patients now. That would have been fine if the PA who is now assigned to me had the sense of urgency about my health. I was being urgently asked to go back to UCLA for diagnostic ultrasound for solid masses found in my breasts, and the PA kept saying that I just need to go back for a 6 month follow up and that she did not need to write an order for it. She finally wrote the order after the UCLA employee explained in detail and repeated herself several times that I need to come in NOW. Somehow the person scheduling appointments at UCLA was more concerned about my health than PA Ho. I will definitely be switching doctors and hospitals since Dr. Chan is no longer able to see me.
My most recent experience with this office was due to a callback from a mammogram. After the first call back, I tried to call and talk to my doctor or a PA, but never heard back even after several tries. Finally, one of the office assistance just told me the order was sent in. But none of my questions were answered. I went ahead for the second mammogram and ultrasound to death that I could possibly have breast cancer. After the second scan, I was told I will need a biopsy, which caused even more concern on my end. The radiologist specifically told me to contact my doctor for more information. I contacted the office to speak to Dr. Chan or someone else multiple times And got no response. I finally gave up until I heard from the radiologist a couple of days before that they also were not able to get in touch with anyone from the office to get the order and that my biopsy could potentially be canceled after already waiting several weeks. They asked me if I could try to contact the doctor for the order. I continue to call multiple times not getting a call back. I was at my wits end. Finally, the office sent the order an hour and a half before the biopsy was supposed to happen. I thought this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with an office until I received my biopsy results. The radiologist had told me that the results had come in one morning, but I would need to talk to my doctor to go over them. Again, multiple calls over several days. Finally, I received word that I was going to get a call from the doctor at the end of the day on a Friday. NO CALL. Worried through the entire weekend, thinking about my results and called first thing in the morning. They made another appointment for me at 2:30 in the afternoon. NO CALL AGAIN. It wasn’t until I called later in the afternoon, livid that they finally put a PA on the line to go over my results, which were luckily benign. I know these doctors are good but quite honestly I don’t feel like I am a patient here anymore. I feel that I’m floating around in their system with no real support being pushed from one practitioner to another while being ghosted. On top of it the way this office is organized and conducts business is downright unprofessional. I often wondered after this experience if some of their patients actually have cancer and they don’t even know it. I will be most definitely looking for a new doctor. What a shame people are treated this way.
Review for women’s health:Was there an hour earlier for my appointment because I already know how long the waiting time is. So, I was told I was too early and will be called few minutes before my appointment time which was 3:30p. It was already after 4p and they haven’t called me so, i approached the desk. I was told I was still within my appointment time. So, waited again. I was called close to 5pm…this is without exaggeration! But… Dr. Harrington was amazing! I can’t say it was worth the wait because appointments are made to make life schedule easier. Dr Harrington spent time to hear all of my issue and gave options and treatment plans. I work in the health care setting and I know waiting is not fun. I’d give a high 5 if I didn’t stay that long in the office and ended up literally being one of the few patients left to close the office. And i miss Dr Chan who’s been my OB-gyne for the past 20 years. But Dr Harrington is equally professional, patient-centered, and amazing!
Dr Harrington is my new doctor. Prior, I was seeing Dr Nguyen before she left adventist and loved her also. Since this is a very busy office, the wait times can be lengthy. But I could not ask for a better doctor or care. Dr. Harrington spoke to me for over an hour and a half about next steps regarding my health. She is helping me step-by-step throughout the process and I could not be more grateful.
I was very satisfied with my appointment with Dr. Harrington. When I talked to her about my issues she listen to every word I said, she had a plan for each issue. I left that appointment feeling like I mattered. The front office staff was friendly and helpful. The MA who brought in was very kind and professional. It’s a great office.
PA Gloria Ho is extremely terrible. Gloria has no bedside manner, she’s rude and talks over you doesn’t let you get a word in, very unprofessional. The office staff gave her the wrong patient chart to start so she was totally confused as to who I was and why I was there. She shows no empathy for patients. I would steer clear of this office. She doesn’t know what she’s doing and I’m glad I am making the choice to find another provider. Please do better Adventist Health.
Gloria HO was very unprofessional. It started by their office having the wrong patient chart, so the doctor had the wrong information. She was very dismissive towards my wife, she made her feel as if her conditions were not serious enough to be helped. My wife sobbed in her office asking her to help her get her hysterectomy scheduled because she couldn’t deal with the immense amounting blood loss, the agony of pain from her fibroids, and despite the PCP’s notes of this being a very serious matter, my wife’s concerns fell on faded ears. Gloria then called my wife a few days later only to scold her about her her A1C being elevated and giving her no hope of remedy. Gloria also spoke for dr Harrington in relaying to my wife that the doctor did not want to see her because, and I quote “ she’s just to busy with more important patients” Adventist health you need to do better. We are highly disappointed in the care we received from this cold hearted person.
Irene has mobility issues. I wish the physicians assistance was clearer twitch her instructions ( how to position her on the exam bed) and also that more staff to help the relatives to transfer her to the examination bed would be appreciated.
Dr. Chan is the best! Professional, informative, kind. Her staff is great too! They always respond to my inquiries quickly and are very understanding about my forgetfulness.
I love Dr Angel Robinson. She is so amazing and always cheerful...She makes me feel so comfortable and answers all my questions. I had surgery last month and once I seen her I think she she knew I was a bit nervous. She pointed out a picture frame on the wall next to me ( I didnt even notice it) displaying Jesus in an O.R. guiding Drs on surgery as a reminder that God didnt give us a spirit of Fear but of Faith. She knew how to make me feel at ease🙏🏼..I knew I was in good hands with her ❤️. I would highly recommend her for sure!!
The place is very organized and efficient. I was able to be in and out within 40 minutes.
My experience at Dr. Nguyens was really nice. It was my first visit and I hadnt been to an Ob-Gyn for many years, so I was very nervous, but I was treated very well, starting with the kind young lady at the reception desk. The office was very calm and peaceful so I felt at ease, and the other people working behind the desk were cheerful. Chaotic offices always make me more nervous, but this was the opposite. The nurse who took me into the exam room was also very kind and attentive. When Dr. Nguyen came in to see me I was feeling relaxed. She explained how the exam would go and what she would be doing and I felt like I was in good hands. She spoke softly, but with confidence so I knew I would be okay. She was gentle and helped me through the discomfort. She also took her time answering all my questions.I wish all the doctors offices I have to go to were this pleasant. Thank you!
The nurses were great and Dr. Chan was fantastic! The wait time was just the bad part. I was waiting 90 mins before I was called back at all.
Every person in this office was fun, personable, and made the entire experience so easy and calming. I was nervous going to a new doctor, and new to the area so was unfamiliar with the hospital, and they all made my husband and I feel comfortable, safe, and like we were friends! Would highly recommend Dr. Nguyen, her staff, and the hospital.
Dr. Natalie Nyugen, OBGYN at Adventist Helath Physicians Hospital is the most skilled, compasionate and knowledgable physician in her field. From my first visit til my up coming hesterectomy, she has made me feel validated for any feelings or concerns with my health. She is thorough with explaining details that allow me to make the best decision to recover from any health concern/condition Ive ever experience while under her care. I would easily reommend any woman to visit her office to experience her excellence patient care.
After waiting 2 hours and 30 minutes, they told me that the doctor had to leave, and I left without seeing her! I don’t blame my doctor but I blame the bad operation, I’m sure they overbooked her. They offered to reschedule in September, I thought they were kidding. I’m so upset and unhappy
I have previously had poor experiences with OBGYNs and am pretty wary about going to new drs. Dr. Nguyen was extremely professional and knowledgeable, she explained everything in detail to me and was friendly enough to make it a comfortable visit. The nurses/assistants were all very friendly as well. They emphasized that they would contact me regarding test results even if the result is okay just so I am aware of my health, which is great.
I am very pleased with Dr. Nguyen and her staff. This is baby #3 for me. I did some intense searching to find a great doctor and I wanted a female doctor this time around. So far, every visit has gone smoothly and all of my questions have been answered, all of my exams and ultrasounds have been on time.
I would recommend this medical center. Special thanks to Ani Mary Kanian, FNP, for her kindness and professional service.I did not have to wait long and the staff was very responsive and smiling.
My review is for Dr. Natalie Nguyen OB. After going to the same OB-GYN for years, I moved to LA. The first OB-GYN I went to was great. Then I switched insurances and had to see another who shall remain nameless. The experience was horrible and left me a bit traumatized.I was hoping, praying I wouldnt have to go through that again with my next. After diligently looking for new OBs, I found some reviews for Dr. Nguyen and decided to go for it. Shes great because she has a good bedside manner, is thorough, and also efficient. Id recommend her to anyone who is considering her as an OB.
Dr. Nathalie Nguyen and Nurse Mini helped me cope with extreme anxiety surrounding my appointment. They both treated me kindly and with dignity, which was most appreciated. Dr. Nguyen also took time to discuss my concerns and made me feel heard.
My 1st time seen doctor Angel Robinson and she is a fantastic doctor. She is very personable, she is very thorough and shes very caring.
Dr. Angel Robinson is amazing. She took her time with me, respected my worries and anxieties, validated my feelings, and was also really knowledgeable.
It’s a clean and professional place. ButThe waiting time is pretty long… and doctor appointment is just a couple min.
This review is for Dr Nathalie Nguyen.. She is the best! She delivered my first baby and she was amazing! I would highly recommend her.
I had Dr. Nugyen and her office staff took care of me like family! I appreciate you Doctor Nugyen & Staff! Absolutely knowledgeable team & I felt very comfortable.
I love Dr Nathalie Nguyen. The kindest, most thoughtful, and caring doctor. Shes an Angel!
I love this place. The staff members are incredible and kind and they speak very slowly, which I think is quite important so that the least amount of information is lost.
Wonderful care and professionalism throughout my pregnancy, labor and delivery!
