Planned Parenthood - El Monte Health Center

The wait time for the depo shot is so far an hour and a half, which makes my visits incredibly frustrating. While the staff seems to be having a good time, the freezing cold waiting room only adds to the discomfort. It really makes me question whether its worth it to get this shot every three months. Spending two hours for a simple injection is tough, and I can only imagine how long it would take to get tested if the wait for a shot is this long. Please consider hiring more staff and improving the overall experience

I love coming to this location. It’s the quickest, friendliest I’ve been too. And they have everything I need in house and always give a good supply!

Rosie was really caring, helpful and judgement free! I honestly felt like I was talking to a friend at home while being there. She’s literally the best.. ask for Rosie if possible! :)

Really good first experience, I was a little stressed about it but everybody was nice and helpful. Got help to fill all the paper and my exams done in an hour. I’m glad I went there 🙏🏻

Everyone at this facility has been so kind and handled my visit with care. Brenda helped me fill out paperwork and her calm nature really soothed any anxiety I had walking in. All of the nurses and anyone else I encountered were really kind to me and explained everything really well and answered all of my questions thoroughly

A safe space free of judgement. My partner and I entered nervous and shaken but the kind staff were friendly enough to explain our treatment options and assisted us in finding an affordable price for our necessary treatment given our current financial situation. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking assistance. I would definitely return if i needed further help or aid.

I walked in at 4:15pm and they told me that they stop talking walk ins at 4. That was understandable. Two days later, I went in at 3:39pm and they told me they stop taking walk ins at 3:30! I just needed to refill my bc it’s rediculous. On top of that none of the staff was warming and they obviously don’t care so it’s a drag being there. Pasadena location was a HUGE upgrade.

Made an appointment and they got me in the same day. Gave me my birth control that day. It only took 30 mins, is was so great and everyone working there was so nice.

They are horrible, the wait time to just get refills or even anything is so longgg no one is ever in the front, and they all look like they don’t care, worse PPH I’ve been too!!

If you set a schedule here, dont. It takes hours before you are seen. They need a better appointment system here.

They take forever to call you in and after they call you in they make you go back and wait for another 1. All the nurses were free and doing nothing but talking and laughing. Bad service if your appointment is at 2 youll be leaving the place at 5.

Very very disgusted with the supervisor behavior a so called professional the way she talks to people was a sad sad sad and the girls behind the counter were just as bad it made me sick to my stomache The nerve of these so called professionals was a disgrace and the admin office really need to look over these so called professionals credentials . disgusted disgusted disgusted NO STAR

Trying to call in to make an appointment is practically impossible. I have been on hold for 30 minutes.

I called twice to make an appointemnent and they never answer the phone and it said that it had zero calls ahead of me

Pointless to make an appointment. Came in at 11am and waited 3 hours before even seeing the doctor. Still waiting...Sad

The worst service, I go personally and they treat me as if they were going to pay my medical expenses, I call and they dont have a gynecologist service, seriously, if you dont like your job, please give the opportunity to people who do want to work and dont. Go just for a check, medical service is very important and as customers we demand and deserve good service.
