By far the best place you can go to when you are not feeling well. They were all lovely and got me taken of. Definitely recommend going here! The front desk lady even helped a lady who was lost that walked in. How sweet can you be. Amazing.

My son and I visited this urgent care last week. We had the best care at this facility. The doctors Sam, Monica, Katrina,, and Allison are knowledgeable and fantastic. Grace the MA was so gentle in drawing my sons blood. She will make a great doctor.We felt cared about and respected. UNFORTUNATELY, CAROLINA URGENT CARE IN CHAPEL HILL is the ONLY COMPETENT URGENT CARE IN NC.

I have been here a couple of times and i love the people. The atmosphere is great. You need some noise reducing machines for patients rooms, to drown out the NP and PAs conversations and phone calls. The service is excellent and they always resolve my problems. They explained things well and listen to the patients medical problems. I refer everyone to this office whenever I am ask for a place for urgent care.

The receptionist was very warm and the decor was clean and updated. I came in due to some nasty cold symptoms I was hoping to address before they got any worse. I was treated by a PA, who was friendly but I felt like she addressed my symptoms rather generically. I didnt come to an urgent care while out of town on a Sunday to be told to get OTC products to treat my symptoms. I have an auto immune disease and prefer to treat things head on before my symptoms worsen. She mentioned she could prescribe me something to help with my cough but there was only a 50% chance it would work. I thought she was dismissive of my symptoms. She said if I was still feeling bad on Thursday I could come back. Why would I want to do that? I came to feel better not to wait til I felt worse, which I do. Two days later, my symptoms have worsened. A tip for her would be to treat the individual and not the generic symptoms. Ive had RA for 16 years so I know addressing illnesses head on instead of waiting are the better approach. Had I been in my hometown with a healthcare provider that knew me I think I would have received better treatment. Or maybe a health professional with more experience. My advice, save your co-pay and go to Walgreens to feel better which is basically the advice I got. I know this is urgent care so my expectations may have been too high but I am pretty disappointed. I would have rated two stars but the nice waiting room and the friendly receptionist is what gave it three for me.

Amazing and fast care! The doctor who cared for me was thorough and very kind. The woman at the front desk was also very helpful. I would definitely go back.

I called about an hour before close to ask whether I should come in tonight or wait for the morning. They insisted I come in tonight and that was a first for me. Everyone was exceptional. They listened and provided answers. I know whats wrong and i have a plan moving forward. I could not be happier. Thank you all so much.

The clinic staff and provider I saw were professional, friendly, and helpful, but the nightmare of trying to sort out billing with the lab that this clinic uses has ensured that I will never return here for medical care.I received an EOB for labwork from my insurance company that was hundreds of dollars more expensive than I expected and listed testing I hadn’t agreed to. When I didn’t receive a bill still (months after my initial visit), I began following up with the urgent care for clarification. They initially claimed to have never heard of the provider listed on my EOB, but eventually the lab told my insurance that my labwork had gotten combined with someone else’s and they were issuing a corrected claim. After this correction didn’t go through, I called the urgent care again and was told that the lab was incorrect before and that the lab had run a more detailed and expensive test, but I still shouldn’t have to pay so much. They put me in contact with a representative for the lab, who told me they didn’t send people to collections, so I should just throw away whatever bill I received instead of paying it. I still had not received a bill at this point and he couldn’t tell me when I might receive a bill or how much it might be for. He also repeatedly told me not to call the lab’s customer service department because they were unhelpful and didn’t know anything (to paraphrase his words).I believed that I had not agreed to the more expensive test, so I called the urgent care location and requested the notes from my visit. The notes confirmed that I spoke with the provider about and agreed to a different test, but that it was sent to the lab as the more expensive test. After I discovered this discrepancy, I spoke with the urgent care again and they said that they would ask the lab to issue a corrected claim. The lab representative said that he would try to do this, but he would not commit to actually issuing the corrected claim. He again told me I should not pay any bill I received and I would not be responsible for the unpaid bill. Both the urgent care and lab representative told me that I should hear from them within a week with updates. I never heard back from either of them. I finally received a bill 7 months after the initial visit that was already marked past due, despite it being the first bill I had received. I continued trying to dispute it with my insurance, but the next bill I received said I needed to make payment to avoid collection.After months of confusion and misinformation dealing with this urgent care and their lab, I still ended up responsible for hundreds of dollars beyond the actual cost of a test which I had not even agreed to in the first place. Their choice of lab is a shame since I otherwise would’ve returned because of how good the office staff and provider were. It’s definitely not worth the hassle for a situation like this, though.

My husband had a sever tooth ache and so I googled urgent care near me. Carolina Urgent Care popped up and happened to be half a mile from where we live so I thought we would give it a shot. I noticed a book online button and selected it and they had an opening opening within the hour. I booked the appointment easily and provided basic medical info through my phone that helped speed up the check in process while we waited for our appointment time at home. When we arrived the front desk associate was very inviting and helpful, we waited maybe 5 minutes and then we were taken back and seen immediately. Both staff that saw us were very kind and helpful, they even provided us with information on dental clinics in the area. We are very grateful for the convenience and how prompt the care was!

On the day of my appointment at their location in Durham, they called about 45 minutes before my appt. time to let me know they had something unexpected come up and had to close down, but they told me about their facility in Chapel Hill, so I rescheduled to there.There were about 4 people ahead of me when I arrived. They apparently were understaffed at the time but the people from Durham were heading over to help out.I think my overall wait time until I was called was about 20 minutes. The first person I met jotted down my symptoms, then an NP came it to talk to me. She was thorough, asked good questions and listened to my lungs. Based on what I told her, she didnt think I had walking pneumonia and thought it was a virus. She prescribed an antibiotic and a cough medicine (Mucinex All-in-one). Just started those today and hope to be better in a few day.It was a very good experience overall. Wait time was reasonable, the waiting area was much nicer than the one at Duke Urgent Care on Hillindale) and all the staff were friendly. Will definitely give them a try again (but hopefully can use the one just 8 minutes from our house in Durham).I think all the positive reviews are very accurate.

Ive been here a good couple times now and they are the best! Theyve helped me with injuries (fight with a food processor) and common illnesses (strep and other bacterial junk). Every time, they listen to every symptom I mention and are so knowledgeable about how they may tie together.There is almost never a wait time over 5-10 minutes before getting brought into a room, and every single person Ive interacted with at this urgent care has been so pleasant to talk to. Ive tried some others in the area, but nothing comes close to this place.I dont live very close, but I will always be going to Carolina. Good folks.

Told me they will not fill my prescription of prozac just to spot me until i can make it to my pcp appointment in february after moving here abruptly due to financial aid issues. do NOT go here, all i was asking for was a prescription of prozac. prozac is not a commonly abused substance nor is it harmful to me in terms of side effects. it is against policy to NOT make your patients possibly have life threatening side effects from withdrawal, apparently.i am a UNC student and i rely on this medication to keep myself safe from my chronic mental illnesses. i will be telling every single person i know and who asks me for advice in terms of which clinics to go to in chapel hill and the surrounding triangle to not go here or anywhere that turns down such a request.this medication stops me from having regular panic attacks which has previously shown on my record to have serious side effects on my heart. ill also be telling people not to go to the durham location either as it is apparently company policy.DISGUSTED and DISAPPOINTED are the only words i have in response to this.

Quickly booked a convenient, same day appt during the busy Christmas holiday week. Super impressed with the kind, knowledgeable, courteous staff and the quality care that they provided. Would definitely use them again!

Everyone here was phenomenal! Youre greeted by Araselia, then triaged by Peralta, then we saw Ally as our provider. From beginning to end, it was the most enjoyable urgent care visit Ive ever been to.

Customer service was superlative. I was seen within a comfortable wait. The care I received was superlative. I had fallen on my stairs and x-rays were taken and evaluated. The PA explained what was found and gave me instructions for healing. I was impressed with the quality of care.

I’m not a picky person. But I walked in here after completing the online check in for a 9AM appointment that I scheduled. There was line of people. But I sat down because I did the check in. Over and hour later, I went to the front desk to see what was happening, and Kate who was working the front desk, said “oh that doesn’t work here” so I asked her why is it even and option to check in online then? And she said that’s just to let us know that you are on the premises. THAT MAKES NO SENSE. So I then proceed with Kate to do the check in all over again. Did Kate really not see a women with a sick child enter and waiting? She really didn’t think to mention “hey let me let this lady know she hasn’t checked in here”. This location needs to put a sign up or a kiosk for patients to check in IN PERSON. Because it’s stupid to have online check in as an option and it doesn’t work then what makes it worse is the front desk employee doesn’t let anyone know.

Going to urgent care for a broken nose and facial laceration should not be such a positive and fun experience. A big Thank You to each of the staff members I interacted with. The care was excellent.

Super service. PA was available shortly after I sat down in the waiting area. PA took only a short time to ask what the problem was, and look at the problem areas I mentioned. After a brief time to get me the medication I needed, he explained his diagnosis and told me what to do with the medication he gave me. Dont know how long the whole process took but it wasnt long. I doubt the whole visit lasted an hour. So far the medication I was given seems to be working. My symptoms have decreased noticably.

Made an appointment online and we were in and out in an hour! Everyone was courteous and lovely. It was completely pleasant- which I never thought is say about an urgent care experience!

The staff could not locate a functioning blood pressure device. My blood pressure was never taken.My normal body temp is 96.8. My temperature in recent days has been running around 99, and I informed the PA of this. She dismissed it as insignificant because its not a fever.I presented with a very painful sore throat. I myself can see the redness and irritation in a mirror. The PA asked me to open my mouth to check my throat, shone a flashlight in my mouth for perhaps a second and announced your throat looks good. I asked how that could be, given how painful it is. She said, The pain must be in your neck, not your throat.All in all, It was a quite unprofessional and unsatisfying visit.

Incredible service. Very fast. The front desk was incredibly accomodating, and the doctor and nurse were both very knowledgable amd non-judgemental. Unfortunately, since my issue was especially complex, the doctor was unable to help me, but she gave me a referral to a more specialized practice which has the equipment needed. I will be coming back if necessary. I wholeheartedly recommend.

I’d prefer to go somewhere more professional. When Hallie came from the back (they have a black strap with silver bells on the front door to hear when someone comes in) I was doubled over in pain, and she asked me to come to the side she was on, instead of taking my information as she walked right past me hugging the front counter. I had to ask for a wheelchair after she passed me a clipboard as I’m physically holding on to the counter to stay standing.During the evaluation of my “possible ear infection” Ally made sure to let me know she was uncomfortable prescribing birth control and that she was “not my girlfriend” when I asked if that was a service they offered.I found that off putting and I still don’t understand what she meant by the whole “girlfriend” thing. You can either do it or not and if you can’t then follow up with who can (which she eventually did) but that “I’m not your girlfriend” comment that she made two times after me only asking once, was offensive and unprofessional.

Everyone was so nice! i was very nervous about going in and me being sick and they were super comforting. i got in super quick with no wait time, which is unheard for urgent care so I was very impressed.

My visit today was my second to Carolina Urgent Care. I am very happy with them. I was seen promptly and had my issues taken care of.

I fell this morning and did some damage to my ankle. Unfortunately I had a work obligation and could not just rest, though most of my colleagues ensured I stayed off my feet as much as possible. One colleague insisted I go see a doctor to make sure I hadn’t done something permanent, and suggested this place for both the ratings and the timing (I was unable to leave until after 4:00, and most places were either closed or would be closed by the time we could get there). I was able to book an appointment at when I thought I would get there and do all of the checkin paperwork online before arriving, but they were able to take me as soon as I arrived. They were kind and very nice, even when some of their equipment didn’t want to cooperate at first. I truly appreciated the care they showed for me, even though I had never been there before. Hopefully I won’t need their services in the future, but if I do, I will definitely return without hesitation.

I have had a sore throat for a few days and got up this morning hoping to go to an urgent care. I walked in and was seen by really nice staff members who helped me and a doctor who saw me within 10 minutes of being there!!

Was able to quickly make an appointment and in and out very quickly and promptly. Everything was very clean and everyone was very kind. My original urgent care closed down near me and I’m glad I found a great new urgent care to go to now

We brought our son in for a head wound and everyone couldn’t have been nicer. From check in to check out all the staff were so friendly, patient, and kind to us and our son. We don’t live close by, but if we need urgent care in the future, we will make the drive to go here.

Why am I going to make an appt, drive 20 minutes to get here, do a virtual check-in, pay my copay, fill out paperwork, to THEN be told it’s going to be over an hour wait? What was the point of the appointment? I drove further to get here because the website said they had availability where other clinics didn’t and I’m really sick and wasn’t feeling up to sitting in a waiting room for hours. Super frustrating. Wouldn’t recommend this place and definitely won’t be back.

I made and appointment on line and immediately the clinic had an appointment time available. When I arrived to the site, I was greeted with excellent customer service and care. No long term waiting and the physician assistant listened to my health concern. The care was given above and beyond. I am so pleased with the outcome

The staff was great and I was seen quickly.I didn’t get a definitive diagnosis but they did spend time with me and ruled out some potential diagnosis. The facility was Clean and neat. I would definitely recommend them to others and return if necessary.

When the on-call UNC Nurse told me I had to get to Urgent Care in 24 hours from my POSITIVE COVID test- I panicked. For a minute. Then I read the outstanding reviews for Carolina Urgent Care, the 4.9 5 star reviews, glowing of positive customer service and quality patient care. The day after I tested positive, my symptoms were increasing in intensity and the brain fog was no joke. When I went in at 12pm on a Saturday there might have been another person there and my wait time was under 10 minutes. The MA who did the intake put me at ease, that yes, it was good that I came in, took all my info and was thorough. Despite my brain fog, she helped clarify symptoms and ask questions and so when the PA came in, she was informed and as I went through my symptoms and even confirmed a few I didnt realize were because Covid, brain fog!- PA Allison was very positive, very enthusiastic and personable. I felt like crap but her personality was so nice I felt better. Impressive. She prescribed me Paxlovid and I said um just send it to Walgreens and she actually suggested Harris Teeter Pharmacy as much better customer service and it was! So that is going the extra mile.Also I might note is the convenient location, right next to a big Harris Teeter with a Pharmacy if you need an Rx, or food or Gatorade or anything to complement your Emergent needs.

I love this place. In and out in an hour since they weren’t too busy. Stitched up my finger and gave me a tetanus shot. Very efficient and pleasant staff.

I recently had a very positive experience with this Carolina Urgent Care facility. I was able to check in online, and did not have to wait long to be seen. The front desk staff was pleasant and the waiting room was very nice.I need some stiches from a cut and the PA, Taylor Medeikos provided really nice care. She was communicative throughout the process and she really did a nice job with the stiches.I highly recommend this office.

Great and fast service. Had an allergic reaction and decided to see someone for it. This clinic did not waste time on serving me and making sure I feel better by the time I left that clinic. Would highly recommend

Everyone was very nice; however, my daughter’s diagnosis was incorrect. She came in with a very bruised finger. They took x-rays and said she had a fracture. She was told to put on a little splint for 2 to 3 weeks. The little splint he gave us was mainly used to protect the finger.I ended up getting a second opinion at Unc urgent care. The doctor at UNC urgent care confirmed she had a fracture; however, even more concerning, she had jammed her finger and the tendon slipped off the top joint of the bone.- “extension tendon evulsion injury” is what he called it. This doctor gave her a much more intricate splint which kept her finger completely extended and said she had to keep it on for 6-8 weeks. He also recommended she follow up in two weeks with an orthopedic surgeon. He said if she had waited too long, she would have to have surgery to fix the tendon.The reason why I felt the urge to get a second opinion was because the first doctor seemed nervous, unsure and a little inexperienced. The UNC urgent care doctor was very seasoned and he could tell by the shape of her finger- how the top part was bent over- that there was an injury to the tendon.

The staff is friendly and efficient. We visited this urgent care during the morning and did not have to wait more than 5 minutes! We checked out fast and with the medication provided.Update 22 Oct 24:Felt feverish for the past week, I decided to go to the urgent care.All staff members were friendly and diligent to help me seek for a diagnosis. What I am not happy with is the turn around time to get lab results back (reason for the rating) since this is an integral part of the diagnosis and I cannot get someone to tell me specifically when the results will be back. As a patient waiting for a diagnosis this is very important.I’ve been told it could take up to 3 days for just a white blood cell count, that is unacceptable. Something as simple as that should be back on the same day. I worked at a lab for 5 years…Update 29 Oct: never had my white blood cells count back from Carolina Urgent Care, ended up in ICU with a tough diagnosis once I could confirm this result on a different lab. It has been an unfortunate experience for me. Diligent diagnosis is key for timely and urgent treatment.

I went here this morning for inflamed baker’s cyst in the back of my knee that I’ve had for a long time and fluid that has formed in the front of my knee. My care provider had a background in orthopedics and I felt very confident in her assessment. I went to ensure that it wasn’t a blood clot or anything threatening. I arrived just after they opened at 9. There were 3 people ahead of me but I only had to wait maybe 10 minutes tops. Once in a room, I was seen very quickly by the practitioner. She was very kind and knowledgeable. I was there for less than an hour total. I self paid and it was only $100 for my visit. I’ve been here one other time and am very happy with my experiences. It’s definitely the best urgent care facility I’ve been to in town. Thanks for taking such good care of me!Update-My TMJ was misdiagnosed as an ear infection, thus I was prescribed unnecessary antibiotics. i had to get a second opinion and medication for pain. My NP was a very sweet, well meaning young man but it didn’t instill a lot of confidence when he kept looking confused and saying “hmmm that’s weird…I’m not sure…maybe an infection?” I wouldn’t recommend going here if you have no idea what’s wrong with you. I will go back if I have a sense of what’s wrong bc the care team is very nice, very professional and there’s very little wait time. It’s a mixed review but I still think it’s a pretty good facility.

The staff and PA Taylor was amazing. My wife had to have stitches on her thumb and Taylor did a great job explaining and performing the procedure. I’d definitely recommend and go back

Both my husband and I got tested for COVID right away. The physician assistant came in to tell us the test results and listen to our lungs. She listened carefully to our concerns and gave us instructions on how to get better.

I was in and out within 30 minutes - which included putting my insurance information in! They were super kind and attentive and very efficient. I can see why they have such great reviews.

Possibly the worst healtcare experience Ive ever received. The PA was super dismissive and unhelpful. She acted like I was an inconvenience to her. Never going here again.

Refusal of service for 100% disabled Vet. Every other medical center in the world accepts VA. Benefits but not this place avoid at all cost. Would leave 0 stars if that was an option.

The best visit ever!!! Sam, PA WAS EXTREMELY nice and well educated. Took care of me 100% along with the assistants, xray tech, everyone was so friendly and so nice and so caring from the beginning of my visit to the end.

I had a horrific experience at this place. I took my child (age 7) here who was experiencing a severe cough. The cough was bad enough that I decided to take the kid to this urgent care on the weekend when our regular pediatric clinic was closed. After listening to their lungs, a PA told us we could leave and did not order any additional tests - just on the basis that their lungs “sounded OK.” The PA seemed rushed to get us to leave. This surprised me, and thus I requested them to perform some of the tests that I know are typical with these symptoms: COVID, Flu, strep. I felt bad asking but I also considered these are some of the tests that anyone would order given the symptoms I had described to them (persistent cough and fever on and off in the days prior). Each time after each requested test, someone would come back into the room less than 5 minutes later to say that the test was negative. This was also surprising to me, since I know that even rapid tests typically take 15-20 min to give a reliable result. After pointing this out to the PA, the PA said something along the lines of “yes, the tests are still running but so far everything is negative but if something comes back positive we will call you.” This was a big red flag to me. Thus, also at my request, they took a swab for a respiratory panel. We were supposed to hear back from them within 72 hours for the results. After 96 hours without hearing back from them, I decided to call. The receptionist said that the results had been in after 24hr, and that they could email them to me if I wanted to. She emailed me the results without telling me anything else. It turns out my child had a bacterial infection in their respiratory system and the panel revealed it. However, to this day, no one has ever contacted me to inform me of these results or to provide a professional interpretation of the panel (I learned of the bacterial infection by looking up on google the tests that returned positive). I am grateful I followed up on this and that the receptionist who answered the phone agreed to email me the results after I requested them. When we followed up with our pediatrician the following week, they interpreted the results, ran more tests, and prescribed an antibiotic.

I brought my grandmother to be seen for a severe cold and sinus infection- ended up being bacterial bronchitis! She was treated respectfully and all questions were answered professionally and thoroughly. The waiting room was empty- don’t know if that was luck or not but we were in and out within 20 minutes, prescription in hand. Sam, our PA was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

I went through the app to make an appoontment only to find out it was a waste of tome. It didnt make any difference of when i was seen

Foot has been swollen and hurting for a week just walked in and was seen x-rayed and given a boot all with in an hour tops staff was incredibly sweet and definitely listened to me when i talked. Didnt judge me when i told them that i am homeless they treated me like a human being! they made me feel comfortable and had actual convos with me made me laugh and smile..i Walked in limping came out smiling best people ever! And the office incredibly clean. Would recommend to anyone.

Went online this afternoon and didn’t take long to find an appointment we drove from Burlington to Chapel Hill as soon as we walked through the door the staff took my mother right away! Even though the staff had to wait on my mother afterwards everyone was so nice and pleasant and patient! I thank each and everyone for their patience and services!!💜💜

Check in online was easy and quick. I arrived 10 minutes early and was out just 10 minutes after my appointment time. Everyone I interacted with had a good attitude, good bedside manners, knowledgeable, etc. I was given a prescription and a referral quicker than I’ve ever thought was possible, and my prescription was only 1 hour later without any insurance issues. I’d recommended this location to anyone seeking care.

Friendly staff and fast service. Clean with a pleasant atmosphere, They dont over prescribe. They listen to what you are saying while repeating it back so you know they understood and explain everything very well. Prescriptions are sent to pharmacies immediately. They also call you as soon as test results come back (No matter the day). Excellent place to go and would highly recommend.

I had a really good, easy experience. This is the first urgent care Ive gone to that was not a horrifying experience. I was seen quickly, there werent any surprise fees, and they gave me a clear indication of what I had. Thank you so much.

Katrina was great and so was the sweet medical assistant and woman at front desk. I was seen here last summer on two occasions and my experience with PAs and staff was not good. Last night was great service, even with a finger injury where I was bleeding and in pain. Thanks for helping me.

The women who work here are extremely compassionate, and very educated and helpful. I made an appointment online and checked in ahead of time on line as well.When I arrived, the receptionist was very kind the nurse was amazing as was the doctor! I was only there for one hour total, which is very quick for an urgent care.

My family has been here three times now and each time the care has been excellent. They get you in right away, prompt testing and follow up. Very knowledgeable provider who takes the time to listen and explain everything. Super impressed. We won’t go anywhere else.

I recognize and understand many people have had wonderful experiences here. I did not have that experience unfortunately. I spent over an hour waiting to be seen by a doctor who was apparently “running late to work” and the nurse said and i quote “she’ll get here when she gets here”. I sat in a room, got a few tests done, and still wasn’t seen by a doctor, i got a call from the owner who was nice and tried his best, but it was like a slightly worse version of a telehealth appointment. I got no real answers and was sent on my way. I got a call an hour later that i needed to come back to get my covid test redone because “something went wrong on their end”. My main concern is that I am going to pay A LOT of money for one of the longest, most confusing, and incompetent urgent care appointments i’ve ever experienced.

I was very pleased with Allyson and her staff .They listened to me and took time to try and find a cause. Took exrays and worked hard to find someone to do a CT scan the same day.Explained there thoughts as to cause and came up with a plan to further investigate the problem.Very pleased with them and definitely use the them again and recommend them to friends and family

I was a walk in patient and was greeted as I entered. I had my vitals checked by a medical staff and was seen by a PA. Everyone from the entrance all the way to the end of the visit was very courteous and professional. My health issue was taken care of in the best and fastest manner! Thank you 🙏🏻

Overall, I had a great experience for an urgent care! I am new to the area and have not yet established a PCP here so I had to find somewhere to get care for bronchitis. Their website is very user friendly and you can make an appointment online to avoid the typical long waiting times that most urgent cares have. You also have the ability to do your paperwork online and it is very straightforward and again, user friendly. When I arrived at my suggested check-in time I was seen by a provider within 15 minutes. The MA and PA that I saw thoroughly listened to my concerns and developed a treatment plan to get me back to where I want to be. I highly recommend this urgent care!

Went in for stitches, didnt have to wait, called on my way and they had a wheelchair waiting for me and Dr. K waiting to stitch me up. Was in and out in 30 minutes and he did an incredible job. Very kind, caring and professional. Wish he could be my GP!

I needed to see a doctor the day after Christmas for a persistant sore throat.  I was able to get an appointment same afternoon and completed paperwork from home. I was able to be seen quickly, no waiting at all. Jasmine and Sam and rest of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable- great experience !

I have been to Carolina Urgent care twice in the last 2 months and cannot recommend them highly enough. The place is spotless, they are informative and listen to you, I was seen immediately and felt very good about their diagnosis and help. In addition, my son and daughter in law are paralyzed and have complicated medical situations and they went a month ago and also highly recommended them to us as well, so we were very happy with the whole experience

I almost thought the positive reviews here were too good to be true, but that was not so--everything was great! From the nicest/cleanest urgent care office space Ive seen, to the helpfulness of all staff, and competent, thorough care, I had an excellent experience at Carolina Urgent Care. Especially since it was my first time at an urgent care clinic in a long while, it was great to receive such excellent care from Miriam and Josette, along with the other staff member whose name I did not catch. I felt listened to and am glad I came in to receive help.

Made an appt online before going to the clinic and waited maybe 2 minutes before getting called back. This is the second time visiting this location and there’s never been a wait for me. Always get taken back at my allotted time slot, never have to wait forever to see a provider once taken back and all the medical staff are very personable, knowledgeable, patient, and kind including the front staff administration. I will always choose this location if needing a service. The PA’s I’ve seen in office both times were amazing and took the time to explain any treatment plan they were considering for me and made me feel included in the decision process. 10/10 recommend!

I set up an appointment before I had a primary care doctor in the area. Id never been to urgent care before, and Id heard some horror stories. This place provided better medical care than I had received at multiple primary care offices. I waited, at most, five minutes for each appointment.

I came into the office fearful because my blood sugar was extremely high, and my chest was hurting. Jasmine, the nurse at the desk, and Samantha, the PA were amazing. They both put my mind at ease, and went above and beyond their call of duty to take care of this disabled Veteran. I salute them both. Thank you, awesome ladies for being so kind, and considerate when I wasn’t feeling well.

Dr Kurian was patient and kind and truly concerned. All staff were professional, efficient, and personable. Very caring, thorough, and supportive—I felt like a person (not a number). An aspect of my issue was treated and due to the complexity being beyond the scope of urgent care only, I was referred in a timely manner to the proper specialist. Much gratitude! I definitely recommend this practice! You will be well-cared for.

Im so glad I found Carolina Urgent Care. I never have to wait long, the front staff is friendly, and the facility is super clean. I cant wait for them to open another facility in Durham. The staff is efficient, friendly, and supportive and both the nurse practitioner and Dr. Kurian are fantastic providers; they will spend time with you and work collaboratively with you on the best course of action. Had a foot issue in August. Unc family medicine wasnt helping worth a thing. Went to Carolina urgent care and the female doctor there got me all taken care of on the first visit. I had had that foot wound almost 2 months at that point. After her prescription etc. I was all healed in 2 weeks. Also just had to take my daughter yesterday because no other urgent care was accepting walk ins or appointments by 8:45am But they had appointments and they did an amazing job with my daughter. Got her all taken care of. And my daughter is so scared of doctors sometimes but they really did a good job with her. I definitely recommend them for and urgent but not hospital needs!!

Great experience here thru and thru. Easy to schedule, super nice people, went in feeling really bad and like a complete mess, they made sure I was comfortable and had anything I needed, left feeling genuinely seen and heard. Couldn’t have asked for more.

An all-around pleasant experience. I was able to make an appointment and only waited about 10-15 minutes to be called back. Alli was really friendly and made sure to ask if I had any questions after we went over my symptoms and options for care.

The nurse and doctor my 9 year old son saw today were awesome! The nurse took her time and explained what she was going to do before she did it and was very nurturing. My son had to have a strep test done and he usually HATES strep test and today he actually said that was the best strep test I have ever had to take!As far as the doctor goes she was wonderful!! She came in with a happy attitude shook my sons hand and introduced herself and made him feel very comfortable. She also explained what she was going to do before she did it. The doctor also took time to ask my son about his sandlot jersey he was wearing and where he was going to be having his birthday party. I would highly recommend this urgent care. Weve seen other nurses and PA at this urgent care and they were also good but the nurse and doctor we had today were the best weve seen at an urgent care.

The staff, nurses, and doctors are all friendly and helpful. The medical staff is serious about bodily consent and I really appreciate that. However, the last time I visited, I had labs done and didnt hear anything back for four days. I had been told it could take up to two days, but I called on day four and it turned out they had had my lab results and just never called me. That was really frustrating because I could have gotten started on the prescription I needed a day or two sooner.

Best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care. We were seen quickly and the staff was so kind. They were especially sweet to my 2 year old who was getting some testing done, and so he was understandably upset, but they were so patient and kind that he left with a smile on his face.

Fast,caring, compassionate, understanding,and pleasant. My son is usually terrified of doctors visits but they were so patient and caring with him and took there time to make sure he was treated well as a patient. This is an awesome team of providers.

Scheduled an appointment Tuesday evening for the next morning at the Chapel Hill office. Checked in online and was in the waiting room for less than 10 mins. Staff was great starting at the front desk all the way through to seeing the MD. Needed antibiotics, and the prescription was there and waiting for me when I got to the pharmacy. Absolutely loved the service from here. The young lady in the front was very welcoming and nice. The place was clean, and the wait was not bad at all. Then finally when I got called to the back, both the nurse assistant and the nurse were both the bomb . So so helpful, caring and made me feel comfortable and even got a smile out of me although I was feeling horrible! Thank you!

This isnt the closest urgent care to where I live, but I still choose to go here when I need something. The staff is incredibly friendly - admin, nurses, medical assistants, doctors - and everything is handled in a friendly and efficient manner. My most recent trip I was greeted by Michael at the front desk who was very kind and helpful. The medical assistant and doctor (cant recall their names, Im sorry) were also great. I will continue to go here for my urgent care needs!

Quick & simple process to see availability and schedule an appointment. I loved that I was about to complete all of my information and pre-check in before arriving. The nurse was really nice and Dr.K was really great! Made me feel very comfortable and was sure to hear my concerns and answer all of my questions. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment because my daughter had pretty bad mouth sores and sinus congestion. We did not wait for very long before seeing a doctor, who was very nice and reassuring. I am grateful for the timely and quality medical attention given to us.

Went in for a COVID test a few months ago because everywhere else had a long line or there were no appointments. I was able to walk in and wait for about 10 minutes before being seen. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Great staff and a nice facility. I hate going to clinics or hospitals, but everyone here made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend. They will take good care of you here!

This is by far the best medical facility I have ever been to. The front receptionists are so nice and friendly and the entire medical staff is very helpful and incredible. They were all so professional. I felt like a VIP when coming here. I would highly recommend Carolina Urgent Care to anyone that is looking for high quality care.

A visit to Carolina Urgent Care is always a great experience(despite why one might need to visit an urgent care). The people who work here make you feel cared for. At some urgent care facilities I feel like I’m bothering or like I’m treated like an inconvenience. It is absolutely NOT like that here. I feel comfortable and HEARD at Carolina Urgent Care.

Awesome experience at Carolina urgent care!!! Why can’t all health provider interactions be this easy?!?! Came to them for an eye injury. Waited five minutes, yes, five minutes….!! They saw me quickly, did a quick diagnostic test to assess my eye, consulted with a specialist on the results, and sent a prescription to my local pharmacy. All within 30 minutes… YES 30 minutes!!!! Answered all my questions about what they were doing and what to do if my eye didn’t get better. Thanks Dr Kurian and team!!

Went to this urgent care and had an amazing experience. The front desk staff quickly registered me with no wait time. I was taken to exam room and the nurse took my chief complaint and vital signs. Dr Kurian came into the room and took my history, examined me and ordered lab test that were done at the office. I got my results in 10 min., he prescribed me medications that were sent directly to pharmacy. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Highly highly recommend this place. This is my new urgent care place to go to.

I saw Dr. Maggie Kelly today and she was fantastic. I had no wait and she took the time and empathy to counsel me on all of my health issues, not just the one issue I saw her for. She took time to help me with my emotional struggles I am going through as a result of my serious health issues. Her kindness and care was incredible. I would recommend this practice and Dr. Kelly any day.

After a disaster visit to Fastmed in CH the doctor on call today 12/23 here was a professional and clearly knew what to do with my symptoms. Persistent to help me find a diagnosis she did a pcr test and I had the flu. I had 2 scrips within minutes to help alleviate my symptoms and end my infliction.

I have gone to this location twice. I received outstanding service both times. I was in and out in under an hour, and the doctors were as good as any I have seen. 10/10 customer service. 10/10 care. Outstanding.

I think that Carolina Urgent Care is far and away the best clinic I’ve ever visited. I’ve been there twice (both on Sunday), and everyone, from the receptionist to the technician to Dr. Kelly, is competent and kind. Dr. Kelly is unrushed, compassionate, and delightful, as well as being thorough and skilled. It’a a pleasant environment, too. It looks new and is squeaky clean and bright.

As a first timer, I had an amazing experience from being able to schedule a next day appt online and being see the following day. The PA was informative, efficient, and friendly. I dislike urgent cares but this was on point. High recommended!

They told us there was an accident with the first strep test, so they had to do another with our 11-year-old. They prescribed a medication our child was allergic to. Not once through the process did they ask us about allergies. Inexcusable. Took quite a while to write a new prescription. We’ve come one other time and that experience was fine, hence the additional star.

Came in for stomach pain and checked in the front desk for the first time. I was confused on how to check in and the nurse laughed at me. Extremely rude. Ruined my experience. Update: Received a call from the owner of the urgent care and he listened to my experience and wanted to understand the situation more. He said he would speak to the nurse that was rude and promised this wouldnt ever happen again. He also offered a refund. Greatly appreciated his call and time!

We needed an X-ray & we were seen quickly. I was impressed the PA consulted a physician for another opinion when X-ray was tricky to read & that they have a radiologist review it within hours, too. They can’t do a cast, but gave us list of options with phone & websites for that. Best experience possible on a Saturday afternoon!

Friendly, extremely professional staff responded quickly to my concern about a possible broken bone in my finger. I walked away very impressed by the entire process! Although the doctor was convinced it was a sprain, he gave me the option of an x-ray right there! The results were immediate ...zero wait time! He shared the results of the xrays with me and sent them to radiology specialists to verify the results. He helped me tape my finger correctly to give it time to heal.Ten minutes later, while shopping at HT, I received a phone call to verify the results. My finger is fine and my mind is so much more at ease!

Excellent service ,Dr Wilby Kurian went out of his way to get my son feeling better. His ear was impacted with wax and he couldnt see the tympanic membrane. But he took extra time even after the clinic was closed and made sure to check the ear properly. Everyone was so so sweet. The receptionist and the Medical aid. Excellent place to go if you are sick. We were very pleased and satisfied.

This is a wonderful place to go whether youre feeling ill or getting a test just in case. I came in feeling terrible, thinking that I had the flu. Dr. Kurian has great instincts and a wonderful bedside manner. The office itself is pretty, clean, and felt very safe. The staff members are professional and timely. If I have any urgent care needs I plan to return to them.

Cut my finger slicing watermelon. Made a quick appointment drove over had a tetanus shot and got it glued and home in 30 minutes. Very clean waiting area but did not really have to wait.

LITERALLY SAVED ME. I became very ill yesterday and took off work to go to the doctors. Well the other urgent care on Franklin doesn’t have there stuff together and had a 2 hour long wait and that my 3:30 appt would go into closing!! And only cancelled my appt 40 minuets before 3:30!! How unprofessional! Yeah so I frantically tried to find the closest urgent care that took walk ins and just PRAYED I got in before they closed. I was so upset and was on the verge of a break down. I came in and no one was in the building!! Went to the front desk everything went so smoothly, filled out my paper work and was called back not even 10 minuets in there!! They were so sweet and kind I almost started crying bc I was so sure I wouldn’t be able to see a doctor today and severely needed medicine. Doctor was lovely! Immediately sent out my prescription. I was in and out in less than 30 minuets. I am FOREVER grateful for that safe haven of a place. Thankyou so so much. I’ve been here three times and every time I get excellent service from the front desk to the doctors. I’m a cash patient & I don’t feel like they are overcharging me. It’s $100 to see a doctor, but it is a clinic so I feel it’s fair.

I saw the best doctor that Ive ever seen in my life at this practice yesterday. He was extremely knowledgeable patient and kind. I believe his name was Dr Willoughby. I wish that he could be my primary care doctor. I would recommend this practice to anyone that needed help.

Best Urgent Care facility I’ve ever used. Clean. Quick service. Friendly and helpful check in. The woman who did the initial routine work up on my 7 yr old was great with him. He came away with a viral diagnosis, ear infection and pink eye. The PA gave him a school excuse for one day. The antibiotic, of course, gave him diarrhea, and the eye meds were prescribed at every two hours for first two days. So of course, he needed more than one day off of school. Disappointing that a professional PA would not know this and take it into consideration to give a child a little lead way to recover. Also, she said his ears had a lot of wax inside. Offered no medical advice on how to treat that for a 7 yr old. So just go in ready to think on the spot for what they fail to! I thought it interesting as well, when he said could he give her a hug, she said she didn’t want to get what he had. Hmm. I thought she said he wasn’t contagious and could go back to school in a day. Oh well! Maybe that’s just protocol.

Polite and fast. I felt heard and well cared for.

First visit was ok. I’m here today made appointment at 9. We were 3rd person in the waiting area. The lady at front desk was unprofessional. She checked the others in, another person walk in, she checked her and others were seen and we haven’t even got checked in or call to the back. I will never come here.

This clinic is so nice, almost no waiting times and the staff was very nice and did a grear job

I had an excellent experience at this urgent care. I had an ear infection and I was seen within 20 minutes by a very good PA who prescribed drops which have cured my problem. Highly recommended.

The reception and medical assistant staff were friendly and prompt. Dr. Kurian was so professional; even though I was there for a sinus infection, he astutely noticed one of my pupils was dilated and asked whether Id had an eye exam that day. (I had, and had forgotten to tell him). I felt very confident about his diagnosis and treatment.

Highly recommend this urgent care - I got my rapid & PCR COVID tests done here a couple times and they were very efficient & accommodating. The front desk staff is super friendly & all the nurses and doctors are absolutely phenomenal. Will definitely be coming back for any medical needs.

Curdious, professional, no wait time and my health issue was resolved. I intend to use this facility for urgent care.

Booked an appointment online with ease, uploading documentation. I was seen promptly, and staff (both front-facing and medical) was friendly, fast, and thorough.

They checked me for what I asked, and nothing extra. It was quick and to the point, I got the care I needed. The 100$ copay is my only gripe, but I can’t say it wasn’t worth it.

I’ve never had such a good experience at an urgent care. There was basically no wait time but more importantly the doctor and nurse were so sweet, understanding, and nonjudgmental. Queer friendly doctor!

Dr. Kurian and staff provided prompt and personal attention. I slice the tip of my finger with a butcher knife. I went to ED in Hillsborough and told to expect 4-6 hour wait at 9:00 p.m. I left and went to Carolina Urgent Care at 8:30 the next morning. I was out in about an hour (most of that time waiting on my finger to numb). Dr. Kurian was attentive and determined for me to feel no pain. Absolutely great bedside manner and care. I hope you don’t need an Urgent Care, but this one is the best!

I was seen quicker than Ive ever been seen at an urgent care in my life! All the employees working there are incredibly polite. 10/10 will go there again (Hopefully not too soon)

I found Carolina Urgent Care by searching the internet for urgent care places in North Carolina. But I am big on quality so I searched for the best. I chose them specifically because of the reviews I saw online. When I arrived, the service I received, was parallel to the reviews. Wonderful!! I was so pleased to be treated with kindness and professionalism, and it was evident that the doctors cared. Service was also very quick, but not rushed. Definitely recommend!
