AFC Urgent Care Beverly

This was our second visit. Having radiology and lab on site really makes the visit efficient and convenient. All the staff are kind and the clinician (PA) who see my child listened and did a thorough exam. Based on their exam findings, an additional test was recommended, which took 10 minutes and gave us a definitive diagnosis. The entire visit took less than an hour. We were given detailed instructions and a note for school/work. We love our pediatrician but for urgent sick visits, this has become our go-to based on convenience, efficiency, and the quality of care we have received.

Clean. Minimal wait. They’re better than my family doctor’s practice that has become too impersonal and too big. This place is much easier to get in to be seen same day. Great staff who listen, are patient, thorough and efficient. Highly recommend!

I always have a great experience at AFC Urgent Care in Beverly. All of the staff from the front desk workers to the nurses to the doctors are incredibly kind and thorough. My most recent visit I was quite scared because I was sick and having a hard time breathing. I instantly felt at ease when I walked in there because I knew they would take good care of me. And they sure did!!! Thank you AFC for being a place my family and I can depend on for the best care!

My experience with urgent care was absolutely fabulous. Those people there are so caring so polite and just the nicest people I’d rather use them than go to my primary sometimes they are very efficient. Everyone at this Urgent Care was very caring yet professional in my care. I mostly met with Hindi and Gina and they were both excellent. Hindi explained all the tests that would be done and Gina carefully explained all the results and my follow up care. Thank you both for your care.

Great staff very friendly. And all know what they are doing very well. My visit went well. I have been there previously before. I have a torn menicus tear in the right knee. Ladies did excellent job in taking x rays and so forth. Thank you Ladies for kindness and your health care. Greatly appreciated. Wish me luck for February 4th knee Surgery

Had a wonderful experience at AFC Urgent Care in Beverly. All of the staff from the front desk workers to the nurse to the doctor were incredibly kind and thorough. I arrived as a walk-in and was taken as soon as I completed the paperwork. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. I’m glad to have such a convenient and trusted health care resource in my community. This was the second time I’ve been to this location and it is the best medical experience I’ve ever had!! The staff is kind and patient and knowledgeable and the place is clean and the service is fast!! Both times I’ve been in and out with my 91 year old grandmother in under an hour getting X-rays, medicine, stitches, etc. I can’t speak more highly about this place!!

I called this morning for what I thought might be a planters wart on my toe but was unsure. Got an appointment right away. Everyone was so nice, friendly and helpful. Check in was super fast and easy. I waited only about a minute and was greeted by a very kind nurse and then a few minutes later by a very nice doctor. He confirmed my suspicions about my unwanted friend on my toe and froze it right off. Going to any sort of doctor visits are always a little stressful and WOW! They took my stress right away with my first phone call. I’m self pay and found it very affordable. You can tell they care at this practice and that means a lot. Thank you!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Caring and professional medical staff. MA, Rachel was excellent and the NP I saw ( Sarah) took her time to do a good exam and explain treatment, etc. Check in front desk team also very professional and pleasant.

Its always a little stressful having to end up in urgent care and it seems that dealing with stressed out frustrated medical workers has been the norm lately (which I understand but still makes connecting to care hard). Every single person I interacted with was relaxed and friendly. What a nice surprise

Absolutely unacceptable. Scheduled my 3 yr old this morning for a 11:20 appointment. I filled everything out online. I arrive. I get asked for his insurance card which I had uploaded. They tell me I have to call insurance company for his numbers. I comply. Then we are left sitting there over a hour past his scheduled appointment not being seen. While my kids are crying hysterically. Never ever received such garbage service from here before.

Amazing experience! They took us in 2 minutes before our time and the staff was wonderful. Very impressed and will definitely return if services are needed. Highly recommend.

Visit went well. If the need arose wont hesitate to go back. One issue: how do I get the info from this visit to my PCP?

They are so quick and so helpful I was sent to the ER at the end of the day but having the doctor at urgent care telling me that ER was the right call and she was totally right. I am thankful for the people at this urgent care and they do a great job!

They are usually pretty quick in getting you even though I arrive 10m past my appt time. Check in was quick especially if you pre-enter your info online before getting there. I went to get a face injury checked due to unusual bruising. They got an X-ray done to check over things and was advised to get a catscan at the local ER to just make sure I don’t have a bone fracture due to the limitations of a normal X-ray machine.

I have lung problems, that was the first time someone gave me the right antibiotics for my body, lung infection. It started working within 12 hrs. So grateful. Most of them cause me anaphylaxis and end up in emergency room dehydrated and sick and having to stop the medicine. Thank youOne less star for having to wait 4 hours to come in and having to fill out paperwork that Im pretty sure I filled out online and sitting in the waiting room

I have to say from the moment I walked in to urgent care until the moment I left It was a wonderful Experience. It was a embedded tick painful, but honestly I never felt the Doc. . remove it and he talk to me through. It so to take it out in pieces, but he was wonderful.I have nothing bad to say.Frank Purdy

I was in the ER yesterday and I cannot say enough great things about Patrick Joe and their Supervisor Julie. I got the BEST care with the friendliest people. They ran tests and I walked out feeling 100 percent better after treatment. Thank you !!!

Everyone was both kind and on-point. -From check-in to vitals to PA assessment to x-rays to the nice ladies pointing out that I was following the wrong exit sign to leave. lol! While you never want to visit urgent care, I’m grateful to know that my family has a quality go-to, if the need arises.

I used the mobile app to make an appointment. When I arrived on time, there were 17 more steps. The first was a question, ARE YOU IN THE WAITING ROOM? I answered yes, but the receptionist didnt get the message, and I waited 45 minutes before I checked.

I needed a physical for work and it was easy and convenient to make an appointment here. The physical was thorough but didn’t take too long. Very pleased all around.

I made my first visit to the AFC Urgent Care facility, in Beverly, on July 10, 2024, and I can honestly report it was an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. (After reading a few previous reviews about this facility, its clear that some people may forget that direct medical care and other related services are highly dependent on the circumstances going on at a facility, at any given moment, and its always changeable, at any given time. There are simply going to be times when other patients, and their particular injuries and/or medical needs, will take a higher priority over you and your needs in that moment--and your wait time may be extended. Its unavoidable sometimes, and must be acknowledged and understood by all who enter such a facility seeking care. In this review, I can only report what I experienced at this facility, on this particular day/time.)After an unfortunate kitchen accident in my home, I wanted to get a cut on my hand examined and treated. Granted, it was not a serious injury, but one that required timely medical attention. The minute I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and sincere care and concern by the receptionist. The registration process was brief, and I was called to an exam room within 15 minutes. The room was organized and clean. The triage technician (Brianna) greeted me in a pleasant and caring manner, asked good questions to get a brief history, and she took my vital signs. I then waited about 10 minutes, and the physicians assistant (Nick, PA) came in and listened attentively to my concerns. He carefully and thoroughly examined my wound and planned a course of action, explaining every step while doing so. His care was professional, efficient and compassionate. The PA ordered a tetanus vaccination, as it had been years since my last booster, and he made sure I had my vitals checked a second time (by Cesia), as a precaution before leaving, as my blood pressure was elevated during the initial triage exam with the technician. During discharge, I received excellent verbal, as well as written, wound care instructions and a complete summary of my visit to the facility. The entire experience at the facility lasted just over one hour.Without question, I highly endorse AFC Urgent Care-Beverly for their exceptional standard of care and their expertise. Its evident the entire staff strives to make their patients feel comfortable and well-cared for. As a longtime Beverly resident, I take comfort in knowing that such a facility exists to help meet the moderate medical needs of our community. We are fortunate!

Im so glad I got an appointment with AFC Urgent Care Beverly for my long-term cough, as I found out it was pneumonia. There is an x-ray machine at the facility, making the diagnosis very convenient.

Exceptional urgent care facility! I needed weekend MRSA testing and I’m glad I went here. DONT GO THERE. They are extremely irresponsible!I went there on Sunday as I was having fever, a lot of body pain and a little bit of dry cough. I explain to the doctor that I have diabetes type I, my blood sugar was very high in the last 2 days (going over 400 even with me taking extra insulin) and I usually get that when I have an infection.I also told the doctor that my husband son was diagnosed with pneumonia about 3 weeks ago, then my husband got it as well.Guess what? The doctor didn’t order a XRAY (the bare minimum ) after everything I described. Instead, he ordered a LYME test and said I had to wait for the result that would come in 2-3 days.The same night I got worse, higher fever, pressure in my chest, ketones in my urine (due to high blood sugar). I ended up at Beverly Hospital ER, the doctor had the decency to listen to me and really care about what I was saying, ordered the Xray with a lot of other tests. Came back as pneumonia. They already started the treatment at the ER, and now I am being treated at home.They are SO irresponsible. The doctor didn’t even bother checking my blood sugar at the urgente care.Please, for your own safety, don’t go to this place!

Excellent experience from start to finish. I was greeted warmly & wait time was short. (I was the first person inside on Sunday morning at 8 when they opened.) Provider was kind and offered 2 treatment options. We discussed the pros and cons and made an informed decision together. She was excellent.

I went into urgent care...staff was friendly...I waited about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment so not a big deal. The doctor that saw me regarding a tick bite was thorough and very helpful. She printed out what to watch for should a tick bite rash appear and treatments for other issues I had. I didnt have health coverage so they were very transparent and helpful with what things would cost. Overall, I would highly recommend this AFC Urgent Care in Beverly.

I never write reviews but Jill, NP was absolutely phenomenal. My 3 year old can’t stop talking about “how nice and cute that sweet lady was”. The medical assistant kaitlin was also fantastic. Giving a kid nose and throat swabs is not easy but she made it look easy. Very happy with our visit :)

We have taken our kids here when we couldn’t get a same day appointment at their doctors office and the staff here are so thorough and helpful! I’ve never felt rushed or blown off. If anyone needs an urgent/same day appointment, I would recommend AFC Beverly!

I went to this urgent care with my 22 month old son to check for an ear infection. My son was crying and did not want to have his vitals taken. The nurse was very patient and tried multiple times with stickers and Lolipops until she got everything she needed. The NP listened to my concerns and made sure to answer all of my questions. The visit was quick and easy (except for my son crying). The front desk was extremely nice to my son as we waited to be called in. Overall a very good experience and will return again if needed.

Several times over the last six months, one of my kids has needed medical care, and there were no appointments available at their very good, but very busy pediatricians office. AFC Beverly has filled a very important space; when you strongly suspect your kid has an ear infection, you want treatment to start right away, not with the next available appointment. My children have gotten the care, the tests, and the antibiotics they needed from kind, caring, and thorough professionals. Particular thanks to James and Gina, two of the PAs there who were wonderful. Frankly, all the care has been great, I just cant always remember names. :-) Im very, very grateful for the help that weve gotten, the very convenient location, and scheduling available.

My first time here was excellent! The place is very nice, clean and well run. My nurse, Molly was sooooo efficient, kind and caring. She even called shortly after I left because she noticed another medication I had at CVS! Very thorough and I appreciate that. Thank you staff!

I went in Nov 14 2024 with a head injury I was asked to fill out paperwork , not an easy thing to do with said injury. Maybe ask the patient the questions and someone writes them down. Very difficult and frustrating

I have to say everybody was very very nice. And they explained everything that was going on and made my client and I very relaxed and reassured. I felt that we got more personal care than a hospital emergency room. Thank you so much for the great bedside manner and The professionalism. Even the receptionist were nice. All smiling. 10/10 would recommend and this will be my go to urgent care. I live in Gloucester which has an urgent care but have had horrible experiences. Tried this one out and both my daughter and I were seen. Treated with kindness, respect, and were given medication to treat.

Fast, efficient and convenient appointments, registration and check in. Very clean, comforting atmosphere. The PA Thomas Walsh was knowledgable and had a great bedside manner. I would have given a rating of 5 if it werent for the guy at the front desk who was less than welcoming and clearly hates his job. He was quite off-putting. Other than that, I highly recommend this urgent care facility.

I saw a male nurse here (I forget his name) but I have medical trauma from men and he was so freaking nice I had to write a review. He asked before each time he touched me and listened to me. In general I’ve had really great care here to be honest.

Quick, easy, nice and clean. Got called right in, and out with a needed prescription and summary/aftercare plan for strep. It only took a few minutes and is alot more convenient than my Dr office.

Needed a diagnosis of a hand injury on a Sunday and was recommended to AFC by a relative. AFC Beverly was excellent - I scheduled an appointment as recommended for an hour from when I called. I completed the preregistration process online. When I arrived at the facility as a first time patient, check in was quick and painless. I was seen by the attending physicians assistant was thorough and made an initial assessment which turned out to be on the money. Required X-rays were also taken and I was out of the facility in less than 60 minutes. A follow up call from the PA came about two hours after the visit with an exact diagnosis and prescribed treatment, as had been stated by the PA. All in all an efficient and professional visit - I highly recommend AFC Beverly based on this visit.

Really lovely staff working here, and this was an overall great experience! Making an appt online is the best way to go, just FYI. Didnt have to wait long at all, was properly diagnosed, and was back home in less than an hour from the moment I first walked in the door. The doctor was very thorough in his explanation of my particular ailment. If you have to use urgent care, AFC Urgent Care Beverly is highly recommended over the other urgent care offices available.

This place was amazing took care of my son better than his own doctors office could. They were able to facilitate his needs by seeing him promptly and efficiently.They provide the necessary papers that he needed to go back to school with, and confirm that he did not have strep throat. Amazing!! My 9 year old daughter fell off her bike and we were in for X-rays within the hour, never would have happened if we went to the ER. She broke her arm and they took such good care of her, wrapping her up making her arm feel comfortable and also talking to her to relax her. They then sent us to Boston’s Children’s which was the best place for her. Definitely would recommend. And we will be going back in the future.

Urgent Care is thorough and efficient. Seeing a PA I better than NP. The online process can be tedious when one does not feel well. Uploading personal information once is helpful.

I would very much recommend AFC Urgent Care in Beverly. It was easy to save my place in line (its not an actual appointment time but they make that really clear). I only had to wait for 20 minutes to be called in. Tests were administered quickly and then it was just a matter of waiting 10 minutes for the results. All of the staff were so courteous and kind from the receptionist to the lab tech to the PA who talked to me about a treatment plan. Definitely the place to go for after hours care.

Decided later in the day to find an urgent care for a sinus infection. Looked here online and they had 4 spots available. I selected one and supplied some basic info and it was as easy as that. Once there I just had to check in. Medical personnel were great. Everything was quick but thorough and they took very good care of me. They went over additional meds needed and what to do if the prescribed meds didn’t work. The care I got was much appreciated.

Made an online appointment/ line reservation, which makes me wait less when I show up. All personnel at this location are amazing, my kids loved their first time visit. Had I gone to a childrens hospital for strep testing Id be there all day. I was in and out within an hour with a family of 4 I loved it.

I always have a great experience with AFC Urgent Care. Im normally able to get a quick visit scheduled and I love that they do everything online for your scheduling because they give you great feedback regarding how busy they are or when you should show up for your appointment. The staff is friendly and helpful every time I go!!

We came here to get a strep test a little while ago and had the best experience. Since then we have come a few more times and brought our kid, who also felt comfortable and loved the nurses and doctors. At this point we prefer going here over our PC because everyone who works there has been incredibly kind and helpful.

Its so easy to make an appointment with AFC, I checked in online and pre registered, in person check in was fast, and I was seen only after 10 min, nurses and doctors are very friendly and very helpful. I was diagnosed quickly and accurately, and CVS had my prescription shortly after. Its such a great place to have if my PCP cant see me that day or if the wait is too long.

Ive been three times. Once for a broken talus (foot bone), covid, and for, suspected strep. Every visit was timely and all my questions were answered. Staff is polite and knowledgeable. I like them better than my primary, ijust wish my insurance copay didnt go up so high for them ($75). But thats not their fault.

I was fortunate enough to schedule a covid test at AFC Urgent Care on 1/9. It was a very positive experience from scheduling to registering to the actual appointment. I was seen on time and tests were done in s professional manner. I was impressed with the thoroughness yet efficient manner of my appointment. All of the staff were kind, personable and professional. Overall an excellent experience. I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care.

Beyond impressed with how tentative and fast we were moved along. We were taken in at our exact scheduled time, the nurse was extremely helpful with my 5 yr old daughter, and watching her while I filled out paperwork, or even when I had to use the bathroom. I highly recommend this urgent care office, as I’ve already told a few family members and friends about it.

I have been there three times this winter with illness. . I feel like I got excellent care there. . The Urgent Care Staff in Beverly on Dodge Street were excellent. They were very professional, caring and kind and seem to truly be concerned about my wellbeing. I feel like you don’t get that nowadays in a regular doctor’s office visit. I would definitely recommend going to AFC Urgent Care in Beverly, So far, five stars from me.😊👍

The entire staff starting with the front desk was extremely organized and very kind and understanding and professional.X-ray technician was quick and I was seen almost immediately. Super easy making an appointment to the day before online and I hardly waited at all. Ive been coming here for years and its an excellent clinic. This time the nurse practitioner that I had was Patty and she was also awesome!!

I had an appointment with all 3 of my children and only waited for 5 mins to be called in by the medical assistant. I was out within an hour for all 3 being seen. Had an amazing experience with all 3 of the MA’s that were there and also the Doctor that attended us. They were very kind and patient with my children.

Courteous professional staff, clean office and over all nice experience. I didn’t have high expectations for an Urgent Care clinic as I’ve never been to one previously. However AFC has set the bar high and I will return in the future if needed.

Went today to be seen regarding my ankle sprain. I was seen by Dr. Yeagley. She was so helpful and took the time to explain everything to me. I’d highly recommend going there, all of the staff were really kind.

Everyone here is super nice . Walked in around 3:15 and they told me someone could see me at 4:24 . So I was able to go home for a little bit until it was time to be seen ( I do live around the corner. ) Everything was easy and when I was seen I was treated with respect and kindness and professionalism . Very happy with their abilities here . I do recommend this location to anyone in need of care .

This location was recommended by my insurance for receiving a covid test. I had previously tried to make an appointment for one at another facility and the line was four hours long, despite having scheduled a time.Here I scheduled my appointment the night before and was promptly treated, with little time in the waiting room. The staff was friendly and informative and did their job well. Great experience.

Amazingly friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I guess I had thought AFC would be a low tier stop in, just a place to go when you can’t see your regular doctor, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was seen quickly and brought in for an x-ray and got my results within minutes. I would definitely go there any time without hesitation.

My 18yo son is a HS student in the Beverly area but we live 2 hours away on the south shore. When he became sick a week ago at school, the school nurses evaluated him and wanted him seen by a doctor. Although the school could take him, I decided to drive up myself and took my son to the AFC Urgent Care in Beverly which the nurses suggested, mostly because it was close by.The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. For walking in and not knowing about making an online reservation, we were able to get an appointment in 2 hours that was immediately confirmed with a text message while I was still at the front desk. While we waited, I ran a few errands for my son. About 20 minutes before the appointment, I received a text asking me to register online (quick and easy) and check in at the front desk 10 minutes before the appointment.We were taken in about 5-10 minutes after our appointment time (short wait with 5 others in the waiting room before us). Both the nurse and doctor were wonderful — patient, listened to my son as he described how he was feeling, and provided great care. My son was tested for strep and flu, and we received the results quickly. The doctor prescribed Tamiflu and along with some Tylenol and rest, my son recovered quickly and was back at school 4 days later. Being unfamiliar with the location of area pharmacies, the staff said there was a CVS in the shopping plaza across the street and sent my son’s prescription there (it was filled quickly). Our visit was about an hour from showing up 10 minutes before our appointment to us checking out. I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care and go there again if my son needed medical care in the future.

Although we made an appointment online, it was a VERY busy day there. We waited over an hour before being seen (it happens). The staff were great, easily engaged, Doctor was fantastic, explained everything (preliminary xray results) She called us later that day with xray official report. Great care. Center was immaculately clean.

I am so glad this place is near me. They are courteous, caring. And efficient. I got an appointment right away, and the PA who saw me was thorough and clear with his explanations. I was very pleased. Highly recommend.

Everything is simple and quick. From making the appointment to getting the appointment. The front desk and doctors are nice and easy to communicate with and friendly. Ive been here approximately 5 times. Its such a relief to not have to go to the hospital and still see a doctor and one that seems to like his job... Ive never even met my doctor.

Went here with severe back pain and into a doctor, who saw me within 10 minutes from pre-check to observation, as opposed to the typical situation, where you’re in a waiting room for 20 minutes and then waiting for another doctor for another 20 minutes or more. My doctor, she was very thorough and personable, and I would highly recommend.

All of the people I interacted with were wonderful and helpful. They listened and shared information well. I felt taken care of throughout the process. That’s really helpful when you are struggling through a medical problem. I really appreciate that they are open Sunday afternoon.

Brought my friend here for a basic STI test when she was visiting from another state. Not only did they not run her insurance and charged her card a random amount. They also only had her take a urine sample which doesn’t even test for what she was concerned about. So when she called them for results they didn’t have any because I assume they never even ran the test. I will be stopping in soon to talk to them about this matter but people need to be aware they aren’t following protocols and running fraudulent charges on peoples cards.

Our family has been here several times. Today was just as great. The NP was very nice and they are quick and efficient. Once you’re in their system booking online is a lot easier.

I’ve been here several times over the last couple years and I am always treated very well. They are Always thorough and kind and they take your symptoms seriously. They’re organized as well as efficient and timely. These guys are what our hospitals and primary care physicians SHOULD be and I’m very grateful that they are here.

If you want to save yourself sometime and get the same, if not better results, choose here. Thiss place is always clean with a few staff assisting you. Wait time is shorter than 95% of my my doctors appointments. Not to meantion, I dont have to call back the next day when theres no more sick visits for the day like my doctors which can be as soon as 10am in the morning theyre filled up. HERE, you have the convenience of scheduling a time yourself online, 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm.My doctor, Lahey has also turned me down for covid symptoms ( a sore throat) and made me wait 2 WEEKS for a zoom call to finally get antibiotics. When I described my symptoms to a triage nurse this time she recommended the ER. Who wants to sit there for hours when you you feel Terribly? Not me. And I didnt have to. After making my appointment here,my room was ready on time, I was seen right away, tested for strep, covid, with my oxygen and lungs listened to and and xray of my chestwas done immediately after the doctor ordered one and left the room. 3 minutes later. Doctor came in with prescription. I cant stress enough how much I choose this option over the emergency room. Waiting for hours for the same results. Or my doctors who can even do x-rays on site. The whole thing took less than an hour.!

This AFC location is amazing .. the staff is friendly( even with being over worked during the sick season ) .. place is super super clean. I was in and out in 10 minutes to be diagnosed with pneumonia. The online scheduling works amazing as well. I would drive out of my way to go to this location any time! An i have an AFC location 2 mins from my house so that says a lot about their staff!

It was great experience with wonderful reception desk staff, nurses, nurse practitioners and experienced X-ray technician. I have been seen quickly everything went pretty smooth and I got the care I needed. I am strongly recommending this Urgent Care. Thank you so much for lovely experience.

I have been here twice - and both times it has been easy to get a time, all the staff has been excellent & friendly, and I have had my needs taken care of fully. They are becoming a go-to for quick hit check-ups!

The following review applies to the urgent care clinic at CVS, 19 Dodge St, NOT to AFC Urgent Care at 50 Dodge St. the former was where my appointment was booked for only to be a “no show” on their end. In fact AFC, 50 Dodge St., called me to let me know they were a different company and I could come in right then. I wasn’t up to it, but clearly will go there should I need the services of urgent care again!Following is Review of CVS urgent Care 19 Dodge.Took a bad fall, slammed head and likely have cracked ribs - made an appointment for 3:06 today the 15th! One would think that such precision in scheduling indicated attention to detail, like actually being OPEN during scheduled hours and honoring appointments that were confirmed! I guess I’ll make it thru one more night before my own docs are in. I am unable to sit for hours in the ER, so was hopeful the clinic could offer a little relief! BTW doesn’t do any good to call support! Woman on phone was kind, confirmed the “closed” office is really open - uh huh….called and received no response. A waste of time and the unbelievable pain of getting in a car to get here!!! Photo below taken at 3:40! Scheduled hours today till 4:30. Don’t count on this for urgent care!!!!

Pricey but so is every urgent care ever out of pocket. The assistant and doctor who helped me out where very nice and took my concerns about a teeny cut on my foot that turned out to have healed over a piece of glass, seriously.Professional and friendly :)

When my PCP was on vacation, dentist had no emergency appointments, and I was in agony from an infected tooth, AFC Beverly was able to see me right away and prescribed much needed antibiotics. They are quick, efficient, friendly, and compassionate. The location is perfect and easy to find. Inside is very clean.

I had plenty of time slots to pick from. They were on time polite and competent. I felt listened to and was treated in a timely and appropriate manner. All the staff had smiles and were pleasant to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

I am so grateful that AFC urgent care is available for those times when PCP is not available, especially, when you have a child who needs to be seen right away. It is nice that they have a registration online and can let you know when they are running behind schedule so that you can wait in the comfort of your own home. There has never been a long wait to be seen and they have been thorough, kind, and knowledgeable.

I called at 3:15 and was given 4pm appt. Seen at 4:15, xrays showed broken wrist. Brace was placed and referral made to orthopedics for next day. Home by 5:30. Professional, good communicators, pleasant waiting room. Highly recommend.

The staff were courteous and professional. The waiting room was comfortable and the wait was not long at all. The young practitioner get a very nice interview preparing me for the Doctor Who could not have been kinder And more knowledgeable. I was in extremely good hands. Highly recommend.

After patiently waiting 5 hours at Salem Hospital urgent care with a deep, bleeding dog bite on my hand, WITHOUT BEING SEEN! , I gave up and drove to AFC Urgent Care in Beverly and was in-and-out in less than 45 minutes! Cleaned, bandaged, prescription for antibiotics. Couldn’t have been more efficient, helpful, and pleasant. And they accepted my Tufts Medicare.

Went here today to have my daughter assessed for URI symptoms. It was easy to schedule an appointment and we were seen without too long of a wait. Staff is very professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

Super clean, organized and well run. I dropped in for a Covid test this morning and yes, there were a number of people in line for the test outside. At 8 am when the opened, someone came out, asked if anyone had appointments, and then ushered me in since I had an 8:11 am appointment. All the sign up and pre-registration was worth it I had done on-line the night before. I followed all their guidance, filled out all the paperwork in advance and I was rewarded with smooth, prompt service. Again, really well run, smooth and efficient. The nurse practitioner was really nice, very helpful and kind. I saw signs that this location would soon be a regular patient care facility and because of the really nice staff and efficient service, I will likely go back and will tell all my friends about my experience. Thanks!!

Ive been trying to make an appointment all morning though the telehealth option on their site. Every time I make an appointment, it gets canceled with no reason why. I makes me extra confused, why offer telehealth if youre gonna cancel every appointment someone tries to make?

I really like this urgent care … I am someone who goes into Boston for all of my medical needs but I find this place great. The staff is welcoming and friendly and they are usuall very prompt …. Except for weekends which can get very busy but they try hard to stick to the schedule…

I recently used AFC Urgent Care in Beverly MA and had a most pleasant experience. The staff and the nurses were very professional and friendly, especially for the crack of dawn on a Saturday morning.I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of medical treatment or diagnosis and dont want to wait 4 hours in a hospital emergency room being treated like a leper.

Amazing nurses and doctors , I felt soo welcomed, comfortable and a judgement free atmosphere while talking to them about personal issues, was in and out quickly but did not feel rushed! Will deffinately be going there for all of my non emergency needs. Also was so great with getting me in due to the nature of my visit even though I had missed by check in time by 10 min. This is the second time Ive been to AFC Urgent Care in Beverly and both times were excellent experiences. The speed with which I was in and out the door was terrific! The staff are all friendly, professional and efficient. I would recommend it to anyone if they are unable to see their own physician for some reason or dont currently have one.

Easiest place to get an x-ray, a Covid test, or a quick diagnostic. Staff is friendly and efficient. Easy for a walk in or to get a spot in the queue w a few hours notice. Highly recommend!

After waiting in line at the airport for a travel test to Hawaii for over six hours we were given a hint from someone in line to come here! One appointment later and a quick hour we are now traveling with the proper documents!! Thanks so much to that great person in line with us and for urgent care professionals patients with everything.

Absolutely heartless, lazy staff that are just trying to get you in & out. After the initial contact with the Nurse, that was extremely brief and everything I mentioned she twisted my words & did not feel as if she was taking my situation with care and professionalism at all, I was left in the room for an additional 15-20 minutes, before she returned to ask why I wasnt satisfied with the treatment I received. My knee is very obviously, very clearly broken and completely unstable, and I was denied an X-Ray. My favorite quote from a Nurse of all time, You came to the wrong place if you think you have something that serious going on. On that remark I got up to walk out, and thats when she blocked the door and told me to sit down and get an X-Ray from them. I refused, and will never be back. Waste of time and money.

Went there for a head injury and was greeted by a wonderful person doing check in. Waiting room was clean and comfortable. Waited at best, five minutes to be seen for intake. Typical intake but with a smile. Was seen not long after that by a PA who was thorough and didn’t try to upcharge. Knowledgeable and gave great medical advice. Would highly recommend if you need a caring medical facility for an urgent need.

Brought my son in early this afternoon. The woman at the receptionist desk was very pleasant. My son was seen quickly. The staff were very kind. The NP was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable. They were very thorough. I left there feeling that my son was well cared for. These reviews do help because I decided to bring my son to the Beverly site rather than the Danvers site based on reviews!

We’ve used the urgent care here a few times since moving to the area. It’s always been a pleasant experience. My kids were able to get updated physicals for school pretty quickly. The Covid tests for my son to travel were in and out. Everyone was kind and attentive.

They are very professional and clean facility.The desk attendants are very polite.Wait time is good.Only thing that was difficult was trying to make appointment on line, so I had to call and have someone help me.

Easy in and out, maybe 15 minute wait from my online appointment. Still need to see if the treatment works but I got seen quick and had no issues.

We came to this Urgent Care after a positive prior experience.We pre-registered online, but then waited over an hour and a half, only to be sent to the ER for X-rays, which the NP refused to do on-site. The only thing we received was poor patient care.Several people were turned away upon check-in, and other patients’ private info was loudly repeated at the front desk.The moderately full waiting room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while.It was especially nerve wracking when patients walked in and told staff they were exposed to Covid, and no precautions were taken.We will not be returning to this site in the future.

I came here because of the good reviews here. However, it was a very bad experience. I got here for a blood test and waited for 2 weeks. Found out they did not label my tubes… the blood draw was aweful as well, wondering if the person has a license at all and any knowledge about blood draw. Anyway, a waste of time and money, especially when you want to know your lab results fast. Don’t come.

This place is really great. I brought my 3 year old in this evening with a dislocated elbow. From the second we walked through the door the staff was kind, professional, and quick. They got us checked in quickly and to the room in no time. The nurse and doctor were amazing with my daughter and they had a room specifically set up for kids. I could tell that they had wiped the room down moments before we walked in, so I wasn’t concerned about her getting sick from being there. The care was top notch.I can honestly say that it was a pleasant experience, which is not something one imagines being able to say about taking their kid to urgent care.

Zero stars, I have had an ear infection for 2 weeks, no other crazy symptoms, registered online, scheduled an appointment, sat for 45 minutes, finally was seen by a doctor who spent 30 seconds with me, asked 3 questions, looked in my ear, confirmed I had an ear infection, said okay, I am giving you antibiotics, I asked if anything else should be given/ done(for my ear infection), she said okay, steroids too. And bolted out the door… very weird, very cold, would not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Doctor was patient explaining the splint to my son, nice guy. But we waited a long time at every turn. That said, my husband took our daughter recently and they barely waited at all. I would certainly go again if/when we need future urgent care.

Great experience for COVID testing. Staff are all friendly, facility is clean, and you wait in your car until you’re called in rather than waiting in line or in a crowded waiting area. Provider was knowledgeable and patient. Quality of care was top-notch. Thank you for everything you do!

Nice facility and very professional staff. Online registration for Covid-19 testing was straightforward, and testing in the clinic was quick and easy (swabbing was very gentle as well). Cost for a rapid PCR was $199, which is pretty standard for the area. Be aware that they arent able to email results, so you will have to wait or come back to get the printed results. Excellent experience; I highly recommend.

I was very pleased with how fast my visit was. My appointment was scheduled for 5:06 pm and they took me right away and I was done and back in my car by 5:35. Very pleased. Also staff was very friendly

We love AFC Beverly. I prefer them to the medical practice that I used to go to (North Shore Physicians Group - 1 star, do not recommend). Every time I have gone to AFC they have been prompt, attentive, genuinely caring and informative. Unlike most regular GP groups, these practitioners actually make eye-contact, engage with you, address your situation and create an action plan. They also saved my husband’s life when our GP blew him off in an emergency - and he was literally on the verge of a stroke. I’m grateful they’re here and for their work.

I have had a couple tests done by the staff at AFC. I’ve been able to sign up online. If you are exposed to the virus or show symptoms you just wait in your car until they call you. The wait times may take longer than expected but with the amount of tests being administered, it’s understandable. Rapid test results are complete within 20 minutes. Efficient and respectful. Thank you for all the work you all do.
